Hazy amber color with a one finger head with short retention.
Aroma with lots of cinnamon and apple struddel.
Flavor with notes of caramel, peppery yeast, toasted malts, wood, cinnamon and hay. Dry and bitter aftertaste.
Medium body with appropriate carbonation. Alcohol of 7% is well hidden.
Ok Amber/Red Ale, a bit too focused on caramel and cinnamon. Though it went well if its apple notes, making up a struddel.

Marginal Mexican Craft beer. Kudos that they now HAVE craft beers, but this is not one of my favs. Low carb, low head, mostly clean brownish copper, no lace.
smells malty and a little skanky.
taste is average and not really note worthy, along with mouth and drinkability.

A bottle from a friend brought back as gift from Baja. Pours clear reddish amber, with a small orange-tan head that has minimal lacing. The aroma has notes of caramel, malt, and some spices. Tastes is medium sweet with roasted malt, caramel, spices and grass, with a medium bitter finish.

One of the very few Mexican beers available at the Beer Box in Playa del Carmen. Tasted 19 December 2013, reviewed from notes.

Pours a medium-dark amber, clear and clean. One finger of off-white head, decent retention, some lacing.

Smell is grainy and a touch sweet. Feels like maybe candy sugar in there? Also lightly herbal, like anise.

Taste is kinda dull. Again, it's grainy, with a mild bitterness. Nothing really to grab on to, few pronounced flavors. Has a slight candy taste, in the odd way that Southern Comfort does.

Feel is better. Medium-bodied, kinda watery, enough carbonation.

An inoffensive beer. It's not bad, it's not good. It's drinkable, but I wouldn't choose to drink it very often.

A: excellent color, light dark reddish, little t medium carbonation but present, a big head made of little bubbles that dissipates slowly to leave behind small traces and a permanent creamy layer on top, light can pass through and you can see the amber intensity.

S: Very malty aroma, little hops can be sensed and also some sweet caramel or fruit style, it is nice indeed not to strong but well balanced.

T: The flavor is good, a little too bitter, hops are predominant instead of malt or barley sweetness is almost not present, so the smell is somehow more balanced that flavor but still good enough.

M: This one is not easy to drink, well elaborated with great looking, intense aroma and complex flavor, a little dry at the end with good lasting and bitter ending.

A: a deep amber beer, some waste is shown that makes it not clear at all, enough carb,a two finger white off head, which takes a while to disspiates

S: the caramel notes are the most remarkable on this

T: there is a tiny sweet notes but suddenly you got a salty, probably from the baja water as in baja wines, and then you get the bitter, good enough, the final is sharp

M: a body lighter than expected medium-light some crisping and refreshing on tongue
