Dark, with a quickly fading head. No lacing, but the color is quite pretty.
Smells like roasted coffee, and a bit of dark chocolate comes out as it warms. It smells good, but it's fairly one dimensional. Tastes roasty with a bitter finish. A tad soapy for my liking. The midpalate is tart, but not objectionably so.
Mouthfeel is a bit thin, not as creamy as I'd hope for from an oatmeal stout. Appropriate carbonation.
I liked it, but I didn't love it. It's a good stout, but maybe not a great oatmeal stout? Still, I almost bought a growler of it just for a change of pace.

Black pour, thin tan head. Smoky coffee aroma. Very heavy on the coffee flavor. Little creaminess in the mouthfeel, which was probably the most enjoyable aspect of this one. Overall, Not my cup of tea.

L- Black body and a very creamy nut colored head.
S- Smooth oatmeal aroma with coffee undertones.
T- Toasted coffee and some oatmeal.
F- Rich and smooth.
O- Very good beer, it would have been better if it had a creamy-full feel.

Not very stout like - almost like a root beer porter.

Pint on tap at the source restaurant in Cabo San Lucas. The only stout of my long liver-shredding investigation of the beers of the Baja, this one is an opaque brown-black with a finger of creamy tan colored head. Very sweet nose, with a predominant chocolate raisin element that carries forward onto the palate, black coffee, brown sugar, and a faint whiff of ash. No ash in the flavor however, which is a notably sweet meld of the aforementioned chocolate-covered raisins (this one is fruitier than expected), roasted coffee substitute, light cream, and a tinge of earthy English hops. Some diacetyl that amplifies the sweetness. If there is a clear knock here its that the body is too thin. Great creamy mouthfeel nonetheless. Oat astrigency in the finish. This beer would be underrated and underappreciated were it better known.
