From a brown bottle. Intense gold, medium carbonation, white-ivory coulored small head, very short retention, with small bubbles.
Caramel malts, very light hops. Catching tertiary aromas even a slight acceptable fruitness (tropical ones...).
T: pale caramel (As the style might have) balanced with slight fruit, and bready malt. Low-medium bitterness. Short end, with little hops, as the style demands, low crispy end. Feels light bodied, low carbonation. Complex if not so cold but not refreshing and vice versa...

12oz can. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of caramel and floral notes. Sweet toasted caramel taste with a subtle bitterness.

This is like a Corona with a little more flavor (that flavor being caramel). The color is a light gold, with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is Light hops and some caramel.

The taste is more caramel forward, but none of the flavors are particularly prominent.

Taste: semi sweet caramel malt, hints of wheat and corn, clean finish. Mild grainy thin nose. Lite Gold, mostly clear, with a refined head and nice ring to the lattice of lace. Light body. Summertime ale.

For a cerveza this is a really good beer. A cloudy blond color with a decent head. A regular beer smell with a good flavor. Slightly above carbonation but by far my favorite Mexican beer. Need to try it with lime.

Light golden pour. Little head.butterscotch aroma. Little hop aroma. Some grassiness. Taste. Very butterscotchy again. Well carbonated. Overall one of their better offerings.

While in Los Angeles my wife and I went for dinner at a vegan Mexican place, Gracias Madre. Wonderful food.
This beer is fairly ordinary, but went well with the food.
A clear gold color with a small white head.
Aroma of sweet grain.
It tasted like Frosted Flakes.
Light-bodied, drinkable.

Had this in a Mexican restaurant in Palm Springs.
Rarely does a restaurant have a beer list in which there is even one selection that I'm not familiar with. Don't know the story about why this ale gets so little distribution.
Since I went there for some piquante to clear out my sinuses, I really don't think I should review this beer. But I will say I should have chosen an IPA to go with the food.

Hazy golden yellow color with a thin head with short retention.
Light citrusy aroma with notes of fresh oranges, vanilla and bread malt.
Citrusy flavor with notes of fresh squeezed oranges and bread malt. Mildly acid and dry aftertaste with a mild bitterness.
Light body with proper carbonation.
Refreshing and very sessionable Golden Ale with assertive orange citrusy notes. Not complex, but it is well crafted as usual for this brewery.

Best before 12/11/15.

Pours a clear dark golden-orange with a foamy beige head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of grain, corn flake, and grass aromas. Taste is much the same with grain, frosted corn flake, and grass flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of earth bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an above average beer that is drinkable, but nothing really stands out about it to me.

Serving type: bottle.

way better than most other mexican lager types, this extremely blonde beer is also supremely refreshing, and lacks the stale, metallic, and general urine properties of so many other imported beers from our neighbors to the south. its brightly carbonated and clean in both smell and taste, no off flavors at all. it is decidedly under flavored, and of course pales in comparison to the american craft offerings out there i think, but i admire the quality compared to its peers. cheerio properties on both ends of the taste, grainy but fresh, and just enough hops to balance it out. short finish with no appreciable yeast character. the mouthfeel is the best feature, super bubbly and refreshing, insanely easy to drink, light body and light alcohol. good summer stuff, clean enough to cut through spicy food, but i don't want it in any other context.

The body appears straw yellow with a rich, creamy white head; lively carbonation. Bare perception of malt grain aroma. Soft malt flavor with a bit of sweetness and hop bitterness in the background. Light bodied, soft, clean and dry finish.

This seems like a decent, mild flavored ale. The brewery web site claims they don't use adjuncts, additives, or preservatives. A nicely balanced beer focusing on light malt and grain flavors. A nice discovery...

Very clear, very light straw-colored, poured a fluffy, 1in+ head. Smells very subtle: some biscuity malts and not much else. Tastes like another Mexican lager. It's clean, which is good. No cornflakes, but quite boring. The mouthfeel is great, however - very creamy with fine carbonation. It's drinkable, but it's boring. I'd drink it again, but it's not first on my list.

passable beer, nonoffensive. Slight cidertaste and neutral aroma and coloured body. A bit of lace. Average mouthfeel. While not hoppy, it was mildly bitter and no off notes. If I was stuck in Mexico without any other beer, I would have this.Stephen Rich's bottle.

A: a pale gold, semi traslucent, tiny white head, dissipates quickly, waste left behind on the glass, carb is constantant and permanent

S: moderate sweet malty aroma and some hops

T: initialy soft malty sweetness, some biscuit, chewy end, bitter final that lasts for a while

medium light body, medium carbonation, light crisping
