this place is a must for anyone that lives within walking distance. it is also a great destination for anybody that wants to support a small independant business or people that love great beer, good wine, local and organic dairy and produce, custom roasted fresh coffee and unique munchies to go with their beer. not a huge beer selection, but what they do have is the cream of the crop. bell's, smuttynose, arcadia, he'brew, bear republic, lagunitas, samuel smith's... just to name a few. prices are good for such a small business. the owner can be found in there at all times, and is friendly, knowledgeable, willing to pour samples, and just an overall cool guy. weird hours make it not as accessable as i would wish, but it is worth it to find out when they are open and stop by. great store. this place stands for what the craft brew thing is all about: not settling for second best... only the finest... not letting the mega corporate bastards run us over. i believe it is a must for any BA that is in dc to stop in and give this place their support. you won't be dissapointed.
