Poured into a Spaten tumbler. Bottled on 5/2/12. Fairly light orange, almost yellow, color and very clear. Millions of tiny carbonation bubbles lead to a large three finger head that is bright white in color and creamy and frothy in appearance. Lace isn't doing much yet but we'll see. By the end of the glass the lace is great and sticks in large speckled sheets.
Smell is wonderful citrus, orange and pink grapefruit maybe some pineapple. There is just a hint of bread and earth.
Taste is bright and citrus bitter, yellow grapefruit and orange peel. This one is quite the palate wrecker. There is some malt body to balance this out but not by much. Quite nice.
Mouth is crisp with a spritzy carbonation. Body is delicate to medium and the finish is average and dry.
Overall I really like what the boys over in Albuquerque are doing. This is pretty much a West Coast IPA through and through. Lots of tongue lashing and not a ton of malt body or musty yeast strains. Gread job Marble and thanks to my friend Luis for muling this one over to me.

Murky hazy straw colored pouring beer. The head that formed was a 1 finger white and frothy looking head. Head retention isn't the greatest, and there's a bit of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is tropical, and I caught a whiff of it while pouring the beer. Up close I get a lot of mango in here, and it's a sweeter smelling mango. I also get some hints of pineapple, but it is light.
Taste - Well, the taste is opposite of the aroma. The pineapple is the main flavor in this beer and it's backed up by a touch of mango. There's a pleasing bitterness in this beer.
There's a nice pop or crisp feeling to this beer. Nice decent body, though it isn't soft feeling.
I am burping hops as I finish up this review and this is a pleasing thing to me. I do like this beer, and am glad I got a chance to try it.

I’m in the Church St. Cafe and there’s a picture on the wall that looks like a New Mexican Elizabeth Taylor. And if I may say, Marble IPA isn’t even that. It tastes more like a Mississippi version of said queen. Like, I’m cool, and I’m chilling, but your boy will not remember it at all. I’ll finish it, but when I’m hungry, I might even finish Carl’s Jr. Ya feel me?

Had while on a ski trip with my family in New Mexico. Had right out of the can. Nice balance of hops. The six pack did not last very long. Next time in going through NM I will look for this.
