Aroma is somewhat subdued. Mix of grassiness and some fruit, but it is more in the background.
Somewhat cloudy with an amber of golds and hint of red. Smallish head with some lacing.
Quite apparent bitterness that doesn't overpower, but always reminding me it's there throughout the drink. Enough malt heft support. Mix of flavors in the hop taste similar to the aroma.
Good feel, soft and full.
Courtesy of NovoMexicano. Many thanks.

12oz bottle into a pint glass. bottled 7/21/16, so less than 3 months old. thanks to relatives Brian and Josh for toting a bunch of NM beers back to me in PA.

Nice golden yellow body, only faintly hazy. decent white head, leaving good lacing.

clean to the nose, seems to have both citrus and non-citrus aromas

Mango in the beginning with a good strong malt background, then grapefruit hop bite at the end.

Mouth is above medium, faintly sour at the back of the mouth.

Overall, a very tasty ipa and my first NM beer. Thanks Marble!

Got on draft at a local restaurant. It's a murky copper color. Moderate white head. Wasn't a strong aroma but I could get a grapefruit and pine smell to it. The taste was piney with a very sharp bitterness to it. Has a smooth feel to it and easy to drink. I am very pleased with this beer. It has what I'm looking for in an IPA

Taste--As many others have pointed out, there is a grapefruit flavor present, but for me, it seems mainly to be dominant in the aftertaste, and does neither add to nor interfere with the main sipping. Damn smooth for 95 IBU. Salty start that is characteristic of high-quality IPAs. In my opinion, this IPA is second, only to La Cumbre Elavated IPA.

Smell--Pine tree smell, but I have very little sense of smell, so I'll defer smell judgments to others.

Look--Darker than most IPAs and with a head that is mostly white, laced with golden blonde. Honestly, and I mean nothing derogatory to the beer, but the color of this beer is just like urine in person that is somewhat dehydrated.

Feel--Nice, not too biting. Again, damn smooth for 95 IBU and 6.8% alcohol.

Overall--I would serve this at parties where I thought IPA would be desired. The taste is uncomplex-- not simple, mind you, but uncomplex. Salty, bitter, then grapefruit after taste, at no point being overpowering.

L: nice orange color, with a nice lacing white head
S: citrusy, mostly grapefruit
T: grapefruit peel, and some spiciness
F: good upfront mouthfeel, slightly bitter finish
O: very well done, the finish is my only knock on an otherwise great IPA

Pours a vibrant, hazed orange color with a finger of yellow-tinted white head that leaves decent lacing. Big grapefruit aroma with a nice whiff of white pepper behind. Medium bodied, just a little creamy, with a nice prickliness from the carbonation and flavor. The grapefruit and slight pepper are present again in the taste, although slightly more muted, with a delicious, hugely-bitter aftertaste. Solid.

Cloudy orange-brown. Smell is skunky, rotten fruit. Hop bomb at first taste, some citrus aftertaste. taste stays in mouth. Not creamy as it goes down, but edgy. A lot of character. Something quirky about it that I find appealing.

L: Poured into a tulip. Thin quickly dissipating head that leaves a bubbly and lacey remainder. Clear golden color, looks good.

S: Delightfully hoppy, can definitely get some of the dry hops from the smell. Very citric, with some floral tones. I can even whiff the malt at the end that goes great with the floral/sweet smell. Very good smelling beer, so I have high hopes.

T: Strong and hoppy up front with a smooth malty finish. Plenty of citrus and floral flavors throughout. It seems like the fundamental for this IPA are so strong that the complex flavors don't really come out a lot.

F: Medium body, great dry hopped feeling on the tongue that continues well after you can your sip. The lingering taste is a pleasant one.

O: Damn good IPA. Strong basics with hops and malt in the back, but not a lot to speak for complex flavors.

Bottle from Whole Foods. Cloudy orange golden pour with small skin of airy head. Funky, musty, citrusy, resembles an APA more than an IPA. A bit of a let down after Elevated.
