This was a gift from Carla & Mark - Thanks much guys! Excellent brew! Had a nice, tho short lived head and a clear amber color. Aroma is a super fresh hop; heavy grapefruit. Flavor is also very fresh and fits the style so well. Palate is perfect. Finish is like flavor, nothing off, very drinkable. Wish I had more.

Freshness: Not indicated
Packaging: 12 oz. brown bottle, pry-cap
Glassware: Tulip pint
Purchased: Received from a friend

A: Hazy, honey-colored brew with a creamy head of white. Shows very good lacing and head retention.

S: Smells of sharp, citrus hops with a grapefruit, oranges, and other tropical fruit aromas.

T/M: Big citrus bitterness makes for a tangy taste experience. You won't find much in the way of malt character in this one. The carbonation gives this beer a crisp mouthfeel, finishing bitter and fairly dry.

O: I liked this IPA but it is far from my favorite. I'm not sure if it's the particular hop combinations or what.

Thank you for bringing me this, Craig!

This IPA is a light golden color, crystal clear and no visible carbonation; a light white head that thins out into an island of bubbles surrounded by a ring of lacing.
The aroma is light, citrusy and hoppy this smells like a good IPA with some lemon zest up front.
The flavor is not quite as good as the aroma or the look but it’s not bad either. The citrus zest come through strong with the hops trailing behind it, the malts take a back seat; this IPA however, is pretty good and does not disappoint.
The hops do taste better in its aftertaste and the alcohol is well hidden I this one.
Overall this is a good IPA and I wouldn’t mind drinking this one again.

Appearance- about a finger of white head over golden ale. Looks good in a glass.

Nose- honestly this was the only part I wasn't so impressed. I didn't get the major "oh yeah, this is gonna be great" hop nose. Perhaps faint citrus but not much pine.

Taste- okay, here is where it really shines. Great mouthfeel for an IPA and perfect balance of malty backbone and floral hops. Definitely not the most hop forward. It's very drinkable and you know you're dealing with a good, solid ipa.

Overall- a very, very solid IPA. If I had my way I would like some more aromatic presence of pine (assuming it's not dry-hopped) but it is definitely a great beer. Would stand up to just about any ipa I've had in the last year. Definitely try this and you won't be disappointed . My first marble brew. Good work, folks.
