Very easily the best of this style I've ever had. I wasn't even aware of the ABV until recently and I've had this beer a lot. Extremely drinkable and refreshing, crisp and delicious. Nothing beats this.

This beer poured a soft, cloudy orange with a nice foamy white head. It just looked really tasty, which was only enhanced with the lovely fruity smell. Lots of citrus, orange, spice...not overly strong, but just smelt delicious. You get all of these tastes too - lots of orange, citrus, coriander, spice. Marble blended all of these flavors extremely well and made a smooth brew in the process. The flavor fills your mouth and you get a nice sharp crispness at first taste. Not terribly carbonated, so you're not going to get really bloated. The aftertaste had some good malt flavor to it and I enjoy it sticking around for a bit. Definitely a beer I'd get again, just wish they had it on tap all of the time!!!

Appearance - 4.5/5.0 - Soft orange, cloudy, nice foamy head
Smell - 4.5/5.0 - Fruity, orange, citrus, spice. Nothing overly strong, but enjoyable.
Taste - 5.0/5.0 - Really smooth citrus flavor, good Belgian representation, orange, spice, coriander.
Feel - 4.5/5.0 - Smooth with good mouth coverage; Not overly carbonated with a sharp crispness at the front; malt aftertaste
Drinkability - 4.5/5.0 - Hmmm hmmm good. Would definitely get this one again

Excellent white. Everything I look for in this style.

Unfiltered look . Thick golden straw with a thick head and strong lacing.
Belgian yeast really pops in the nose with a little wheat in the back.
Nice for this style amazingly refreshing. Balanced mix of orange and yeast in the front with some malt to round it out. 7% ABV but no noticeable alcohol. This is what I look for in this style.
Semi creamy mouth feel.

If only this beer was distributed I n DFW it would be a daily drinker.

Aroma of bread and yeast...slight sweetness. Fuzzy white gold color with some small particulates. Nice layer of small white heads. Initial taste is very positive with both significant body and refreshing wit beer sensations...wheat, bread, amber sweet malt, light citrus/lemon, very subtle banana, clove, carob, white pepper. Overall very drinkable and a bit more abv than a regular wit, white, or hefeweizen. Additionally, great price point for the 22oz bottles...same as their lovely double IPA.

Eye Candy: Translucent and hazy, straw like bordering on goldenrod. Thin and tight cloud white head. Plenty of rising carbonation bubbles. Lacing present on glass throughout session.

The Nose Knows: Lemon zest, cardamon, citric and peppery with an underlying earthy grass like character.

Toungeland: wheat and grains in the front, spices subtle at first, then emerging rather aggressively. Young, slightly ripe mango; tangelo like citrus with a hint of sweetness, some tartness, juicy citrus character abounds; dusty funk and clove in the middle. Finishes peppery and dry. Thick and wet, full and tongue-coating. A complex assault upon the palate.

Bender Factor: This beer is more complex than the godfather of the style, Ommegang Witte. Believe me, I have consumed more than my fair share of Witte and spent plenty of summer afternoons on the patio of the Blue Tusk in Syracuse, NY reveling in the sun and drinking away the day with the Ommegang standard. All of the traditional essence, mostly true to character, and (its bold, I know) given the choice, it's Marble Double White for me.

10 pour at the brewery is a very hazed, light gold color with a thin wisp of white foam. Pour is pretty full, but as the glass empties, the beer leaves some nice lacing on the glass.

Nose is lots of coriander and wheat with a nice dose of clove from the yeast. Sweetness comes out, even a little bit of honey.

Taste keeps it within the bounds of a wit, rather than going over board on the alcohol and thick malt. Sweetness is moderate and has a lot of coriander and lemon peel with a decidedly wheat tang. Very delicious and re-affirms my faith in the double wit style, as opposed to the thick, syrupy alcoholic messes that the last few Ive had have displayed. Has a nice hoppy bite on the finish and finishes clean. Although, this is really more of a wit and a half. Very good. If you like Southampton's version, you'll like this one at least as much if not more.

From the tap poured into a pint glass. Nice yellow color, slightly cloudy. Thin head with decent lacing. Fragrant floral smell, very pleasant. The taste is nicely spicy with pepper and coriander. Taste is also floral, fruity and bright. Very enjoyable!

Bomber served cold into a goblet.

Double white is a hazy golden yellow color with stick whitehead that settles with some nice lacing left behind.

Aroma is spicy and fruity with great coriander and lemon peel character.

Flavor is well balanced and well done. It doesn't overwhelm with spices but rather gives just enough it let you know what went in to making it. A good dose of sweetness up front with citrus and coriander in the middle.

Mouthfeel is light in body and perfectly carbonated.

Overall really well done and worth looking for if you like big Belgian wits.
