A- Hazy copper-orange body, one finger white head, good retention time, not much lacing.

S- Citrus, floral notes, grain, caramel, toffee. Noticeably sweeter and a bit boozy in comparison to the standard IPA.

F- Citrus, caramel, toffee, pine. The sweetness is a bit offputting in comparison to the standard IPA. A bit less balance to it.

M- Medium bodied, smooth with a mild heat to it that is fairly pleasant. Good carbonation, very non-descript bitter aftertaste.

O- Not a particularly memorable DIPA, I expected a bit more complexity and bitterness after trying the standard IPA.

L - Lovely glowing snow-globe ball of hops, full of gold. Nice lacing.
S - good but definitely showed its age, should have paid attention to the canning date! Faded hops, malt, pine
T - Yep, definitely old; can taste what "might have been" in this beer, but already grainy-malty, and hops largely absent.
F - Nice, not boozy, a balanced IIPA/DIPA, not bitter enough in its carbonation effect.
O - Need to find this in a fresher format, but a nice double/imperial by Marble.

After one 22oz bottle of this stuff and I had a slight buzz, It's also damn tasty as well. Marble is amongst the top brewers in new mexico if not the best.

Comes in dark yellow, produces about an inch of white head. Aroma is difficult to discern, seems hop muted, but no bottle dating, so who knows what effect age had on this. Either way, its on the brewery for its lackluster existence, but you can still tell there is some degree of dry hopping that goes down.

Taste is the usual high caramel, high bitterness double ipa. Citrus, pine, usual descriptors. Its better than average, but hardly novel in its approach. This is prolly better than average because they keep it just a hair above ipa/imperial ipa territory into double.

Resinous.

On tap at brewery. Fairly gentle hop aroma on a cloudy orange/golden pour. Skin of head leads into big hop bite. Sharp, short, but potent. Makes my cheeks flush. Tasty, but pungent aroma enough to make this a sipper.

On tap at the brewery.

Amber orange straw, thin white head that sticks around for a while. Pretty clear.

Aroma is earthy hops, resin, sweet juicy citrus and some citrus zest.

Has a decent malt presence, sweet residual flavor of caramel layered with some resinous and citrus hops. Some cracker and grass and a floral characteristic.

Smooth, a hint syrupy, moderate carbonation and medium body.

Overall a nice balanced brew. Mostly an old school DIPA with a flavorful malt backbone with a few new-style hop flavors layered throughout.
