Another dusty bottle from the cool vaults, so we'll see how well this one has lasted. It's at least a year old. Lots of creamy foam poured into the tulip, but not overly gushing, just a lot of head.

This still has that distinctive herbal note, though it's not as "dank" as a lot of IPAs lately. Very spicy and seriously sharp. Almost a barrel sort of woodiness.

A rich and tangy large IPA that has a dry and bitter finish. The creamy foam and carbonation just never lets up. From the 22 oz bottle bought in Albuquerque in 2012.

Pours a golden orange with an off white head. Aroma is resinous, citrus juice and its rind, toasted malt. Flavor is the same. A crisp, active mouthfeel. Overall, fresh on tap at their tap house this beer definitely delivered. Good stuff indeed. Would drink again.

Pours a golden amber with a thick, white head. Decent retention and good lacing. Aroma redolent of pink grapefruit and spice balanced by sweet malt notes. Citrus and pine hit the palate first followed by caramel and toffee notes. Finishes bitter. Medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Overall, a solid, well crafted double ipa.

Being a big fan of the regular IPA from Marble, I'd been wanting to give this one a shot. I was not disappointed at all! Fantastic color when poured from the bottle and really nice lacing down the glass. Very similar (duh) to the regular IPA, but has a little more kick to it - which is really enjoyable. Maybe I've just had too many of the regular IPA :)
Would definitely like to try this one again. Worth a purchase if you run across it.

Appearance: Pours a hazy amber color with a respectable head; good stickage and a few shards a lace

Smell: Biscuity, with a hint of toffee and tropical hops (pineapple, orange and mango)

Taste: Biscuity, up front, through the tropical hops arrive early and stay late; underneath, there is a bit of toffee flavor that lingers in the finish

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: Nicely balanced with a very nice hop profile

Thanks, sunkistxsudafed, for the opportunity
