Have tried to Marble beers before and like them both. This one piqued my interest when I saw that it was “accented with New Mexico Wildflower Honey.” Nice way to start out the night.

Poured a yellow, golden, hazy color with two 1-to-2 fingers of frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass, which I could see through the haze. Below average spotty lacing. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.50)

Smelled coriander, honey, grassy hops, light floral aromas, sourdough bread, hints of lime zest and orange peel. (Smell - 3.50)

Taste was a tad better, getting that wildflower honey, grassy hops, coriander, sourdough bread, corn cereal, grainy floral hops, citrus zest, hints of orange peel and a touch of tart honeydew melon. Some unknown spiciness as well. (Taste - 3.50)

Light body. Thin texture. Average-to-soft carbonation. Abrupt, grainy finish. (Feel - 3.75)

OK for the style, but nothing special. Honey really shines here. Was hoping for more. (Overall - 3.50)

L: Hazy amber with no head whatsoever. Very bubbly though.

S: Smells wheaty and sweet. Hints of honey.

T: A little wheat on the malty-wheaty elements that I like in my wheat beers, but the sweetness is nice. Very natural sweetness, doesn't feel forced at all like a lot of other sweet beers. A little tart toward the end and I think I can taste some coriander.

F: Very smooth and drinkable. A very light wheat beer. Different from what I usually get, but its nice.

O: Not bad. Wouldn't be my first choice for wheat, but if I was feeling something sweet and light, this would be a shoe-in.

Since I'm a fan of honey, this was an easy choice. This stuff is great. Goes down smooth like a wheat ale should, with a crisp honey note. Very mild hop taste, overall a great beer.

Hazy, golden body crowned with a creamy, dense head; lots of aggressive carbonation. Very little aroma but what's there is grain-like. Grain flavor; soft sweetness; mildly tart; grapefruit; strong hop bitterness. Medium bodied, almost heavy; soft and velvety on the palate; dry finish.

This is very much like a wheat pale ale with its citrus, grapefruit character and smooth wheat feel. Well, a quick check of the brewery's web site shows this beer also utilizes honey and coriander (along with Crystal hops), so those additions might explain the sweet spiciness that really sets this brew apart. Nice depth, balance, and complexity to this wheat beer make this one to hunt down and try.

Nice amber orange color. The nose is mostly floral with a little coriander. The taste is a nice blend of floral notes w/ coriander and a slightly sweet finish of honey. They blend well with the wheat base. I don't drink this style much but this was nice and light but full of flavor.

Pours a beautiful golden-orange color with a thick white head. Aroma was a bit subdued compared to others I have had in this style. Taste was on point and refreshingly blended with light honey and coriander complimenting the wheat. Nice beer.

Murky apricot pour with white head; no lace. Honey aroma. Biscuits with honey; a little tangy citrus on the finish. Lite mouthfeel; wheaty/honey tongue coating. Semi sweet honey linger is a bit cloying.

One of the few from Marble that I hadn't tried. And while wheat beers aren't really my thing, I am glad I picked this up. It is going to be a summer go-to; yard work status. Wheat, dough, floral hints, lemon, and a wonderfully pleasant honey. Can't recall a beer where the honey comes through this well.
