10 oz pour (I wish more brewpubs offered this option) is very clear and light brown, almost an amber color. Thin layer of tan foam.

Nose is sweet, with a roasty and toasty malt aspect. Very clean, low on fruit and a bit of bready yeast.

Taste is sweet and caramel with some toast and a light, floral bitterness on the finish. Might be slightly overcarbonated and the body is medium. Sweetness might be a bit much, not quite cloying though. Light fruitiness comes through as it warms a bit. A decent brown, but might be my least favorite Marble offering so far. Still though, it's a good, solid brown ale with a fresh, clean taste. Marble is doing some good things in ABQ.

Nice roasty brown that is very drinkable and works well with spicy food. I liked the full mouthfeel and the way the beer finished long and smooth. A lot of Marble's beers are hop centric but this is a nice counterpoint that works well with South West food

This is a a great brown. It pours a deep brown almost to black.

Smell: the smell is incredibly fruity. It smells of cherries and raspberries. Also smells of malts. There is a slight smell of flowers.

Taste: The front taste is of raspberries and cherries. Very slight hops that mix very well with the fruit taste. There is taste of caramel malts. The aftertaste is of raspberries. Its as if I just ate a delicious tart variety of raspberries... very pleasant.
