Brewed in the purest Belgian tradition, this unfiltered witbier is distinguished by aromas of yeast, coriander seeds and citrus fruits.

Hazy gold with a voluminous head. Orangey yeasty nose. Medium wheat body with some tartness to finish. Very tasty wit.

Hazy light orange on appearance with just a slight amount of head that doesn’t stick around. The aroma is faintly clove-like and floral, with slight citrus from yeast. Flavours of clove, phenolics, and a nice residual dry malt follow, but with a really light and crisp nature that is very refreshing in comparison to other witbiers. Really nice change.

Capped bottle: Clear dark straw color, slightly hazy, with a cloud of yeast at the top. Good activity. Light foamy white 3 finger head, lasting around 10 minutes, with average legs but decent swirl reaction. Flavors of banana, pears, sweet barley, wheat, Belgian yeast, coriander, and floral hops (saaz, perle). Slick and fluffy medium body with a good crisp. Medium strength finish, slightly roasted and chalky, a bit bready and spicy, ending with moderately leafy noble hops. More hoppy than the usual Witbier, you could almost say it's half a Pils. The mix is decent but not amazing. Freshness is good and the texture is right on. Overall good quality craft.

Pours a 90% opaque honey golden yellow, or light amber. Poured into a big wheat glass. One finger white head which dissipates fairly quickly to a thin cap. A few spots of lacing.

Nose: yeasty, wheaty, not many esters obviously, a tad fruity. Some orange.

Taste: tastes like a witbier lol hard to pinpoint anything out of the ordinary. A bit of orange and spices as expected.

Mouth: Medium body, high prickly carbonation that took me by surprise. Not too sticky actually.

Overall it's a refreshing dinner beer so you don't have to worry about your food hindering your ability to get those hidden flavours. I'm much more of an ale drinker. Goes well with some grilled chicken or meats. I do like this brewer they make some good stuff. Very drinkable, enjoyable, but nothing special.

Bottle from a mixed pack from IGA outside Mont Tremblant.

A - Pours a cloudy light gold with yeast streaks and good carbonation. Two finger white head is soapy and fading quick and it crackles away. Good soapy lacing and a film of retention.

S - Spice and banana come through alot with banana winning out a bit. Very wheaty and yeasty as well. Everything it should be. Nothing outstanding, but to style for sure.

T - Quite a bit of banana and sweet spice with less yeast and wheat but still pretty good. Sweet with those banana esters but quite nice. For a Belgian Wit it should be spicier, but I'll let it slide. It could use a bit more balance instead of being just straight sweetness.

M - Good carbonation and a light to medium body with a sweet, dry finish.

O/D - While I don't think this is to style, it wasn't too shabby. Not a champion wheat beer but it was nice to try. It's no Blance de Chambly, but it has its place.
