Bottle: Poured a hazy light amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of tropical fruit with light citrus and grapefruit notes is incredibly enjoyable. Taste is also dominated by loads of tropical fruits with light grapefruit notes with almost no discernable bitterness. Body is full enough with good carbonation. I really enjoyed the nice intense floral hoppy notes of this beer.

Complex and strange accumulation of hops for a pale ale. Drinkability was good but some of these hops did not get along together. Peluso fresh bottle.

Blonde/straw in color with a nice 1 inch white head and some carbonation. Nice tropical smell, I get lots of grapefruits then oranges, citrus, strawberries, pineapples, apples, grapes, smells really good. Interesting taste, it's really fruity but also you tastes the malts and have some bitterness but not too much. Nice carbonation feel in the mouth, almost like soda.

Serving: Bottle

A:
Pours a shazy orange-gold with a little finger or so of puffy white head that settles to a film. OK retention; concentric circles of scummy lacing. (3.75)

S:
Fresh and fruity. Grapefruit, pez, white wine, some herbal scents. (4.25)

T:
Soft bitterness with some malt and a hoppy punch. Orange pith, some pine, rising bread, lingering resinous--almost licorice-like--finish. (4)

M:
Prickly with a light-medium body and a dry finish. Lingering sticky op presence. (4)

O:
Excellent Pale Ale.
This is a damn, damn good beer. It is extremely drinkable with a nice full hop flavor without that being all that is going on. Doesn't fatigue you too bad, either. Pours alright with a big, juicy nose and a bracing flavor with a earthy bitter citrus character. There is a strong, but by no means dominant bready malt backbone too, which only adds to the overall pleasantness of the beer.
This is an excellent brew and one that is well worth seeking out. I am actually going to go see if I didn't get the last one ASAP. I can't tell if these guys' beers are getting noticably better as of late or if there is just better distro and I am getting them far fresher than before. Either way, great beer. (4.25)

From a 500ml bottle. There is a space for '# Lot' but it is unstamped.
L: Pours the color of a freshly minted penny, hazy, with a small, tidy head that fades back fairly quickly but leaves a ring of fat-bubbled suds around the edge of the glass and ample sticky lacing.
S: Faint, but... caramel, vanilla and clementines.
T: Sweet breadiness up front, oranges, grapefruit, tobacco and pine resin, with a long, lingering grapefruit pith bitter finish.
F: Full-bodied, satisfyingly slick and thick mouthfeel with fine fizzy carbonation.
O: Like drinking a big old slab of my Aunt Sadie's homemade bread slathered with marmalade. You could make a meal of it.
Note to Jesse and self: next time I'm in QC I would LOVE to find this on tap!

Hazy golden color with a sexy cloud of activity. Creamy and frothy white 2 finger head, lasting around 15-20 minutes, creating a good amount of lacing. Flavors of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, floral, roasted grains, and butter. Highly bitter and very sharp with low sweetness. Slick smooth medium body with the perfect amount of crispy carbonation. Strong and long finish, ending with a thick minty piney astringent feel, smoky grassy hops, acidic citrus with clove, and some roasted malts and peppercorn. Overall the craft's quality is good, while I find it just okay from a lack of balance in the flavors, and an overly strong intensity. The flavors a decent, yet masked by a quick coarse pine aftertaste, and also not very fresh and too oily.
