Bottle: Poured a light pale yellow color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of tart notes with some lemony notes and dry funky Brett notes. Taste is also dominated by tart notes with light lemony notes, some dry Funky Brett notes with light barrel notes also noticeable. Body is about average for style with great carbonation. This beer has great drinkability with good complexities.

Pours a vaguely yellow white with a big, beautiful virgin white fuzz that settles to a fizzy film. Barely any retention; a couple spots of lacing. (3.75)

Fruity barn. Floral, winey booze, wood, dirt, warm vanilla apertif, tart apples, funkier as it warms . (4.25)

Slightly tart flower wine aged in oak. Really together, balanced flavor with a slight green apple-like tartness and a woody liquor below. (4)

Fizzy, twitchingly, teasingly tart, some alcohol warmth, light-medium body, slow but eventually disappearing finish. (4)

Really tasty, interesting, well made beer.
It looks fairly nice (out of the bottle at least). The smell really reminds me of a tripel. But the flavor is a nice woody, earthy tartness that is just there in the back corners of your mouth.
Very balanced and enjoyable, the barrel comes through in a nice, complimentary way and the beer on the whole is very well put-together, I feel. Would have again; definitely worth getting.
On an unrelated (or maybe related) note, I was swarmed by fruit flies the whole time I had it near me. Might be good for fly traps ; ) (4.25)

Pours a deep copper orange color with 2-3 fingers of bubbly head with decent retention and not much lacing. The nose features yeast, toasted malt, peppery, some fruit (apples, lemon) and hints of bittering hops with a mild Brett funk. On the palate the beer opens up, especially as it warms. Again, the yeat comes out first with some added bread and biscuit flavors, some fruit (apples, oranges); the Brett and barrel come through second with some great funk, oak and leather notes. The body is medium with good carbonation and it stay light and drinakable. This was a super tasty brew!
