This is their newest offering, and their first lager. Oranges are broken apart, with the juice, peel and pulp added to the mash. Decants a slightly golden liquid, with one finger of white foam. Leaves some spotty lace behind. Simple nose has both grassy and floral hops, with citrus (orange), and some candy. Sweet oranges and some grainy maltiness is pleasant and is backed with a great hop profile, which again, is both floral and grassy. Have they used Saaz? A bit of tropical fruit and yeast towards the finish. Ends pleasantly bitter with oranges present. This is a fruit lager that I'd be happy to drink any day, though this will kill on patios this summer no doubt. It isn't over the top, but you can tell the oranges were used, and the hopping was quite the surprise. Great! 3.4-3.5/5

Growler from the bight tank.

Pours a clear light gold with a decent 2 finger white cap which displays fair retention and good lacing.

Aroma is a mixed bag of delicious fruity-malt tones mixed with funky odors of unfinished beer...light diacytl and DMS but at tolerable levels...a klittle longer in conditioning would cure that.

Taste is quite pleasant and refreshing, Biscuity-wheaty malting, moderate hop bite juicy orange under tone...lightly dry finish is clean and crisp.

If they let this condition a bit I could become quite used to it on tap...a perfect summer patio beer but needs some cold tank time.

500ml bottle shared with mrmanning. This is Railway City's new summer seasonal light beer, brewed with lager yeast and oranges and cellared for two weeks.

A: burnished golden orange with copper hues, a sliver of bubbly white head, and dots of lacing on the tulip.
S & T: resiny sweetness, caramel, toffee, toasty biscuit, wheat, juicy and spicy orange fruitiness, soapy/citric hops, slight bitterness, dry and passing aftertaste. Very ale-like, which is unsurprising for this brewer. The brief lagering period is probably the bare minimum that a beer can be cellared in order for it to be considered a lager.
M: smooth, lighter than medium, good bite through the middle, quick finish.
D: a drinkable and satisfying fruit beer. Not as flavourful as Great Lakes Orange Peel or Mill Street Lemon Tea, but still a nice quaff. Good effort, RCB!
