Very boozy. Looks great. Not as good as the Dunkel. The triple Part was just to keep up with the craft beer high alcohol scene.

Poured this into my pint, and it appears a very dark brownish black, with a small tan head, and a fairly rich-looking body.
This smells nice of roasted coffee, but with a pleasant char. Some underlying alcohol.
The taste picks up on that nice java roast, but adds now some dark chocolate notes to sweeten it up for balance.
While not complex, this does work as far as being easy to sip and simply tasty.
Mouthfeel is medium-nearly thin, with low carbonation, and a slick-feeling.
When I saw this single for sale I had to try it out for a few bucks, as the brewery is in my neck of the woods and I haven't really sampled them.
Not complex, and could use a bit more carbonation as it all but vanishes by the time I'm 2/3rds of the way through my pint.. the alcohol is more hidden than I expected, the beer screams dark and German, and it's balanced in flavor. I like what I like about it.

Probably my favorite beer. Exceptionally good for a beer with 10+% alcohol.

A very tasty very strong lager. Black in color and about 10% alcohol.

Dangerous. Very drinkable with medium mouth feel. Alcohol is well hidden. Dark and smooth. Very nice, Franconia!
