A-Pours a reddish/caramel with little to no head from a bartender doing me a "favor"
S-Roasted malts and sweets hops....not much else.
T-Caramel, roasted grains, and some toffee.
M-Thin and low carbonation, I think the keg is getting old, or no one knows how decent a brew this is right now.
D-Not a bad beer that I found in a country-ass bar in BFE. Would like to try it fresh at the brewery and re-review!

Had it at the brewery on tap.
Dominantly chocolaty and nutty. Sweet.

As the name implies pours Amber in color with a white head and some lacing. Good malty flavor with no hop bitterness. As smooth as a beer can be easily a session beer.

Pours out to a very creamy head and long lacing. Color is hazy amber. Aroma is malty, with caramel, toast, and floral hops. Flavor is subtle mix of Munich malt, crystal malt and soft, gentle hop flavor and bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and co2 is moderate. Overall this beer presents itself as a clean malt showcase. It has German lager-like smoothness and less American "attitude" for the style.

I had the Franconia Amber on tap at the Gaylord. It was one of 8 local beers they offered in their sports bar.
Served in a pint, the beer is a chill hazed Amber with just a whisper of beige lace.
The beer has a faint aroma of caramel and crackers.
The taste is very earthy which surprised me. It is slightly sweet but I wonder if this beer is old and past it's prime. The earthy taste is very strong and there is a hint of brown sugar in the backend. It is off putting and kept me from finishing the beer. The off tastes were not that dirty tap line funk, so it must have been the beer itself.
The mouth is medium.
I would sample this again to see if my pint was just and old and stale.
