How is this beer rated so low!?! It is an awesome version of the style better than many of the original German versions.

On tap at the brewery. The beer pours a golden yellow color with a white head. The aroma is wheat and grain with some lemon and grass notes. The flavor is more of the same. I get a lot of wheat with some lemon and grape notes. There is a little bit of grass and earth from the hops, but they contribute basically no bitterness. Light and refreshing, this is a very easy beer to drink. Medium carbonation. A great beer for a hot summer day.

I think this is very drinkable brew for high ABV. Smooth from start to finish.

A: straw colored, slightest suggestion of head, no lacing

S: juicy juice,

T: sickly sweet, malty and very lightly hopped.

M: light, but not watery and decently carbonated. Refreshing.

D: pleasant, a little sweeter than than I like my Kolschs. Maybe even a little macro brewer-y.
