Located in the edge of town, old workshop area for the trains. Really lively on a Friday night. Reminds me a little of a German bierhall. Short bar but tons of tables. Friendly, fast service at first, then I was abandoned while bar staff chatted with the locals. Good selection of taps. Good quality too.

Fantastic brewery offering a solid lineup of brews and a delicious full menu. Burgers are incredible, and surprised us with the quality and taste when we ate here for the first time. Great place for sharing some yummy appetizers and brews, or gorging yourself with a full meal. I'm in heaven every time we find a classier pub in the sea of dive bars around this area, and "The Stube" doesn't disappoint. Awesome local spot for those in Franklin County, PA.

This is a cool little restaurant called Beer Stube that is located in an older building. Nice outdoor seating section compliments the indoor dining are. The bar is smallish, as only about 6-8 folks can sit there. There were 10 brews on draft covering a bunch of styles, and about 12 bottles styles to go.

Service was prompt and friendly. The food we had was good as we just focused on sandwiches and burgers. Draft beers were good - nothing that knocked my socks off which was OK since this was a dinner stop while we were in the area.

Overall a good place to stop for a burger and a beer.

I knew that Roy Pitz existed in Chambersburg for a while, but I didn't get a chance to stop in and take a look until now. The place has a good atmosphere with a high ceiling and factory brick walls. The bar is inviting with a decent number of drafts listed on the blackboard. You can order flights at a very decent price, and although the quality of the brew is as others have posted (average to mediocre), I can easily forgive this in light of the comfortable surroundings, cool paintings (each themed to a particular brew) and the live music on a regular basis. Definitely a cool place to stop by. And the food (mostly sandwiches) is really tasty. A must try if you are in this area!

Been a long time since I'd visited here- last time was a few years back when it was but a basement with tap lines for pints and growler fills... how times have changed. Nice to see an expansion take place!

The brewery is in the same location, but has moved into the upstairs and opened a nice "Beer Stube", which is spacious and accommodating. Granted, I was here mid-day on a Friday, so we had the place to ourselves. Bartender was easy going and talkative, got into a short discussion on their first attempt at a sour (which was tasty!). Food menu was appetizers and a few larger plates - I had the Blonde Dijon which was excellent.

Overall, it's a place I'll come back to when I'm in town visiting friends- their flagships are solid enough and they offer an intriguing variety of seasonals, food's good, price is right... check it out if you are in the area!

Small taproom located inside the brewery with a bar and small table area

Menu is mostly sandwiches which are tasty

Service is bar only with usually one person on duty

Beers are about average with some tasty seasonals, flights and brewery tours are available.

This is my hometown brewery, so glad to see something like this pop up in the heart of Bud Light country. I usually try to stop in every time I'm back to visit.

The brewery here is a rather small operation, and they don't have much infrastructure for a tasting room or brew pub, but we were told that a brewpub would be opening up soon.

As first-timers, we got 3 samples each free, and the service was extremely friendly and helpful. We got to try a variety of their beers, all of which are pretty delicious. You can also mix your own six pack to take home.

Great place, Great beer! I will be becoming a regular. I was told that they will be opening up a pub in the spring... can't wait.

I went in with the wife, we were both given 3 free samples, all were great. The place is a hidden gem tucked away on north 3rd street in chambersburg. You'll never find this unless you are looking. Everyone should be looking, I see big big things coming from these guys.

for sale are bottles, you can mix a six. also growlers fill with anything they've got, and they do sell kegs, 1/4, and 1/6 which makes me happy, something delicious from them will be the next beer on tap at my house.
