Went here to share a couple bottles on 12-23 and had an amazing time. They weren't having a tasting but there were a couple guys there and we ended up drinking some damn good stuff. Very good selection the staff was super nice and the conversation was dynamite. I didn't think there prices were bad at all either they had a cigar city mosaic ipa on tap that I couldn't get enough of I'm going back the 26th to try to drink the rest! I like that this place is a lot quieter than the rest of Delray that being said this isn't a traditional bar so if you are looking for that atmosphere go somewhere else.

Great place love going here, Chung is a amazing owner and always gets his hands on hard to get beers, love it a must go in palm beach. Also great coffee and breakfast, wish they had a better selection of food but I go for the beer anyhow so its not a big deal to me lol.

We stopped in here briefly for a drink and to check out the bottle selection, on a tip from some local BAers. It's not a bad place, but, as advertised, more a coffee shop than anything. Total hipster atmosphere for sure. Still, there is a small bar, and there was a very nice selection on tap, with a heavy leaning towards locals. Cigar City Sugar Plum was a plus, as was Oude Tart (aka one of the few Bruery beers I actually like)! There was also a good bottle selection; not much space, but they used it well, and again, offered up a lot of good Cigar City options.
Service was decent. We were the only ones at the bar, and the waitress/bartender was on the ball for the most part. My one gripe was, she poured me a beer that kicked, and thus it was less than a half pour. She promised that it would be on the house, but when I got the bill at the end, not only did she charge me, but it was $7.50! God. So 1.5 beers between the wife and I and a bottle of Sugar Plum to take home, and our check was in the mid-$30 range. Pretty unacceptable. Unfortunately, it wasn't until we had left and were in the car when I realized that she had charged me for the partial beer. Oh well.
There was food here, but we didn't have any because we had already eaten. If I remember correctly, it was mainly small sandwich-type items and some desserts.
It's a nice little place, and definitely worth keeping an eye on, as far as bottle selection goes. I feel I had a bad experience, but, short as it was, I'd give them a second chance.

I walked hereafter having lunch at Park Tavern. It was nice to get out and walk after the huge meal. The walk was long and rather hot (84 on Dec 10) but well needed.
If I had been here first, I would have thought this place was great. It is a quiet little coffee shop on the outskirts of downtown. Very homey and anti-Starbucks, which is always refreshing.
The beer selection was decent. I think they had about 10 or so drafts and all were craft. I had some espresso and it was quite delicious.
This place is kind of out of the way but certainly worth a stop. Prices are reasonable, atmosphere is nice, I would come back.

Very nice place to get a good beer and/or coffee. Trendy place off the beaten path. The beer selection is very good for that area. Prices are very reasonable.
The only complaint I have, and it's an important one, is that the place does not do enough business to turn over the bottles. On 2 occasions I had an IPA or DIPA and they were both malt bombs. Not fresh at all! I mentioned something to the one guy that served me (not the owner) and he clearly knew nothing about beer.
I've been there about 4 times and probably won't go back because of the chance of not getting a fresh IPA.

Went here last night for their Oktoberfest/Pumpkin beer festival. It's a great little place to hang out and have some brews, coffee or some appetizers. They had a couple couches to sit on and a bar with a tv to watch sports. They had live music and a raffle for beer memorabilia. I won a Dogfish Head tap handle! Super stoked about that! They had a great selection of brews on draft and the appropriate glasses to put them in. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the modern decor around. They have a Dogfish Steampunk clock on the wall! Very cool! Also there is a bunch of bottles around you can purchase. If I lived closer I would be there a lot. Highly recommended to anyone ever in the delray area. Cheers!

I first found Coffee District through some local beer geek friends and stopped in on a slow Sunday afternoon one day and immediately was hooked. The atmosphere is comfortable and although the beer bar section is a bit small, you can grab a quality craft brew and sit wherever you like. Chung, the proprietor, is very knowledgable about beer and has quite an impressive collection. I think there are now 16 or 18 taps and each one always top notch craft beers. They host some awesome events for beer geeks, and brewery tap takeovers are also great. I don't often find myself at the other part of the bar, which serves a wide selection of coffee and all its various Starbucks-esque variations, as well as sandwiches, snacks, smoothies, and desserts. However, if I'm there knowing I'll be there for a while and plan to drink a lot, I'll definitely grab one of the delicious hot sandwiches like the California Club. Prices are always reasonable and I've even bought a couple beer bottles to take home on a few occasions. Sometimes the events can cause the place to get a little too busy for my taste and I find myself without a seat, but I'm always in good company and it's a minor inconvenience. There is also seating outside if you want to grab some fresh air or the exact opposite if you're a smoker. I'd like to see them dim the bright lighting for the night time events, and that's probably the worst thing I could say about this place.

Love this place - if your in Delray or anywhere close this is worth a visit. Chung the owner is amazing. They have pretty much the best selection one can get here in south florida. Also they have a lot of older beers you can ask for. Only thing lacking is decent food; or should i say good food just extreamly limited in choices. Prices are good enough to buy something for your home or collection and definatly reasonable to drink there. Atmosphere is lil token coffee shop, but who cares when your drinking a beer you cant even find for sale anywhere but there.
Cheers

My favorite craft beer bar in south florida! They make an effort to support local florida beers and have always had at least one florida beer on draft. Cigar city and tequesta are regulars as well as rare and unique kegs of beers rarely found on draft. Always have an immense and changing bottle selection for reasonable prices. Also they have a great happy hour of 2-4-1 drafts on 6-8 select drafts from 3pm-6pm. Friendly and incredibly knowledgeable staff that you can tell love beer too. Offers a good selection of snacks although i haven't tried any to confirm the quality although i can't imagine it would be less than great.

My main place for bottle and draft selection, chung at coffee district has an amazing beer destination. 16 or 18 taps, i forget which it is, and well over 100 different and sometimes hard to get bottles make this a place to be reckoned with! Social beer tasting nite on monday nites and lots of different brewery events, including the massive cigar city takeover nite with TBC that had some crazy stuff set this apart from any other place in the region. Damn good food to i might add. See you all there.

One of the top beer destinations in South Florida. chung, the owner, is extremely passionate about beer and it shows. He carries just about anything that comes into our market that is worth having. He recently expanded his taps, and he rotates them quite frequently. They have a nice selection of food, including paninis and salads, but the beer is the real reason to come. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, which is a huge plus in my book. If you visit the area, this is a must stop. Highly recommended.

recieved word that this was definitely a place to hit in delray, a hidden gem if you will. although come to find out its not so hidden, as anyone who drinks good beer down here knows about it. went twice during our 5 day stay in boca and i will certainly return some day. chung is the owner and a hell of a guy. his passion for beer emables him to run a very successful business, plus the food is great to boot. its a fairly limited menu for food, but then again hes not advertising for food. he labels it as a coffee wine and beer bar. he has 6 beers on tap, but another 40 to 50ish bottled beers, ans certainly some nice hard to find stuff. the roast beef panini we had was phenomenal and served very quickly. bells expedition stout, a couple terrapin bottles, southern tier choklat, amongst others rounded out our beer choices. its overall a very chill place with about a 7 or 8 seat bar, and a few tables scattered here and there. if i lived around here, id make it a regular spot. definitely worth seeking out if youre in the area. tell chung boston chris said hi.

I cam here for a craft beer social media outing, and I must say that I was very impressed. Coming from San Diego, I was hard hit when I first moved to south florida for a decent selection of craft beer, craft beer hangouts, etc.
Coffee District is not a brewpub persay, I believe the classification we came up with yesterday is a pastry-pub. Instead of normal brewpub fare there is a coffee bar that serves espresso, cafe, etc, along with a decent selection of desserts. The carrot cake that was brought out had 7 layers and looked tasty.
The beer: I didn't see a bud light insight, instead they offer a vast array of craft brews (8 taps??), and a cooler full of bottle selections. Belgians, local brew: Cigar CIty/Holy Mackerel, brews from across the U.S.
The service is spectacular and were very well suited for our large group gathering, but on a normal night has the small cafe feel, plus bar area.
If you're looking for craft beer and dessert, maybe a coffee...this is your place.
Long live the Pastry Pub!!

This place is awesome. They only have 6 taps, but they dedicate 4 of them to pretty special kegs that you probably won't find elsewhere. They've had Flying Dog Raging Bitch, Ommegang Chocolate Indulgence, Stone 09.09.09., Cigar City Maduro, and St. Bernardus Abt 12 the last couple of times I have been there... Coming up is Terrapin Darkside and Cigar City Jai Alai...
Their bottle selection is vast and includes some gems you won't find at Total Wine. Here are some of the bottles they carry...
Left Hand Smoke Jumper, Port and De Proef Signature Ale, Rogue John John, Victory Wild Devil and V-12, Terrapin Wake n' Bake, Chouffe Houblon, Ten Fidy, Avery Dugana, and beer from DFH, Victory, Avery, Stone, Oskar Blues, The Bruery, Rochefort, and basically almost anything available in South Florida.
Their prices are the most reasonable and fair prices I have seen. The place has the chill vibe of a coffee shop which is a nice change from your typical bar. The owner Chung and their other employees are some of the nicest people I have met and have great beer knowledge. It is always a pleasure to stop in and enjoy great beer and have great conversations with great people. I also had an incredible cup of espresso too.

Coffee District offers pretty much all the good beers available in the market by the bottle, including new releases and seasonals. There drafts, which at one point were very simple, have been drastically improved recently as they have had Dogfish Red & White and Palo Santo, Stone Ruination, Avery Maharajah as well as others. Their beer list is simple and easy to navigate.
Their prices are very reasonable if you understand that a bar cannot sell a beer for the same price as Total Wine.
Chung, the owner, and his staff are very friendly and accommodating.
The food there is simple, sandwiches and salads and all are very good
People should understand, this is a Coffee Shop the sells great beer, so it is not really a Bar in the sense that most are accustomed to. It is a place where you can sit down, relax and enjoy a beer with other people who enjoy good beer.
UPDATE: As of today CD's draft selection has gone from 6 to 14 (with the possibility for 18). Chung always seems to get the rare kegs so this is excellent news for craft beer lovers in the area. I'm looking at S. Tier Chocolate and Gemini, Cigar City Batch 69, Bells Expedition and Double Cream, Dogfish Burton Baton ect...

I finally made the stop to the Coffee Dist and had such a bad experience I don't think I will return. This place is pretty hard to find it is a bit north of Atlantic Ave and located on 4Th I believe. The atmosphere is pretty nice, swanky and bright, very trendy looking place. The quality was decent, not strong in my book. The service was pretty good, the girl working seemed to know abit about beer, the guy woudn't even talk to us. I am not even sure if he knew about beer or coffee or either. The selection could be better, this place needs more taps to shine they had 5 on tap with St. Bernardus 12 and Ruintation being the gems. They litterly have everything possible to get in bottle that S. Florida offers with exceptions to Bell's and Brooklyn. If I wanted a bottle of beer I would of stayed home and opened up my refrig since I have everthing and more than they have. THIS IS THE SHOCKER OF THE PLACE, THE OWNER CALLS FROM UPSTAIRS IN HIS SWANKY APT AND KICKS US OUT. THE PLACE WAS TO DEAD AND HE WASN'T MAKING ENOUGH MONEY TO KEEP IT OPEN ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. I would of stayed and had a couple more Ruinations on draft. This placae doesn't deserve a beer like that on draft.

I really ejoyed this place. Although there werent alot of beers there that I hadnt already tried before, the beer selection is still good. They offer a home brew course the first monday of every month which is awesome!! People gather and bring in beer from all over that they have accumulated through friends or family from differents states (beers that are not available in south florida)to share and enjoy!! The beer that is brewed at the home brew classes is then available on tap there when ready. I had a great time and will be returning for a repeat offense!

This place is such a hidden gem. Its like a coffe lounge (Starbucks-esc) but with a bunch of taps and bottles everywhere...really interesting, but the vibe was pretty sweet, especially if you go there with a few people
The owner, Chung, is awesome - I went in to make a quick stop, ended up talking beer for about 45min. Absolutely friendly environment and great service
To get to the beer, nice selection, especially for Florida. Always have different Dogfish Heads (120 IPA, Fort Rasberry Ale, Raisin d'extra, World Wide Stout, etc)...They have a few different Rogues, Left Hand, Avery, etc. Give this place a shot, its definitely a good time all the time

Hopslam (a little old at this point, but good to know for the future)
Tons of Mikkeller and other Cigar City on-tap/ awesome stuff
