Pours a amber color - mostly clear. Thick frothy tan head dissipates quickly leaving no lacing or head.

Aroma is mostly nutty and bready however you get some sweet caramel notes on the back end a sweet bread aroma reminiscent of a pastry.

Taste follows the nose with a malt forward bread and nut flavor quickly transitioning into a spicy hop finish with some grassy notes. Somewhat dry and bitter on the finish. Definitely nowhere near as sweet as I anticipated given the nose. Although there are some caramel notes, its not sweet at all. I did pick up a bit of an alcohol burn as the beer warmed.

Feel is light and light bodied. Very easy drinking. Dry finish coats the mouth. Mild to moderate carbonation.

Overall its a solid beer and a decent take on the style. I would drink this one again if it was there.

The beer pours a bronze color with a little cloudiness, about a half inch head that vanishes.

The smell is toasty malts, faint spice, light caramel sweetness.

The taste is slightly sweet, toast grainy bread, and a very mild lemon note on the finish. A little grassiness. Slightly bitter on the finish.

It seems light bodied for the style, but is medium in body and delivers a clean taste. A bit of lingering bitterness and a vaguely herbal note in the aftertaste.

Overall, a nice drinking beer, low enough ABV you could have a couple. Decent representation, but a little light in body.
