"Buket Chuvashii" Zhivoe means "Chuvashian Bouquet" Alive.
It's called alive as it isn't pasteurized, however, it must be used during 45 days. "Alive" is a very popular brand in contemporary Russia, consequently macrobreweries earn considerably, though, eventually, consumer drinks the same insipid pale lager. This one contains an adjunct - rice.
Very pale yellow, watery with thin laces and repulsive aroma of poor malt and unmalted constituents.
Taste is rather sour and not fresh, but you can perceive hops, surprisingly. Nothing catchy at all.
What you need is to ignore this beer.

The name means "living", but this isn't an unfiltered or bottle conditioned beer. I'm confused, but that's my natural state in Russia.

A: Pours a pale golden color with a large fluffy head that fades to a thin layer with nice lacing.

S: Even though the bottle is brown, and the packaging date is less than a month old, it has a slightly skunky smell, but at least that means there's hops in there. (Most Russian brewers use "hop product", whereas Buket Chuvashii uses actual hops, which Chuvashia is known for.)

T: If I hadn't read the label, I probably wouldn't have suspected that there was rice in this beer. There's little of the usual dryness in the aftertaste, and the hops are very welcome after several weeks of overly-sweet low-hop beers. All in all, this is a nice beer.

M: Light body and ample carbonation.

D: Again, this is better than the average beer here. Well worth seeking out.
