Lucky's is not really a BeerFly sort of bar but if you're in the Regent St. neighborhood for a Badger game or while visiting somebody, it might be worth stopping by for a pint of a local brew. Lucky's has 20 taps and about 60 bottles but a good half of them are taken up by macros. One will always find a few decent beers from Capitol, New Glarus, Ale Asylum, Bells, Tyranena, etc... Service is good but not knowledgeable about beer. The food menu is expansive but consists of not much more than your average fried pub fare, nachos, and pizzas, etc... The atmosphere sucks except for the shuffleboard. It's loud, there are 50 TVs (no exaggeration) in the place, and there is a good chance that a drunk guy will dump a pint of Miller Lite on your shoes. Happy hour specials are ok.

Well i just got the BM that the place was approved so might as well review it since ive been there quite a few times. its not exactly the "Beer bar" place that we all love Maduro's or Brasserie V for being. Its more of a Sports type Bar, that happens to have a pretty decent selection of drafts including the last time i was there 3 bells, 1 tyranena, 2 new glarus and 2 ale asylum.

all in all ide call that a pretty solid local selection.

A- very relaxed and sports like. many TV's lining the walls with lots of sports on usually, theres a nice back area that i like to drink at, and a projector screen down as well.

Service- solid quick service from the waitresses, and were pretty peppy, though definitively not beer connoisseurs.

Sel- as i said above i think the selection of taps is pretty solid, though i dont have any idea about the bottles, but i think i remember it being not much beyond the breweries i mentioned, + macros

F- food was solid, exactly what im usually looking for when i go to a place like that, greasy, big and tasty.

i think i forgot to mention th 20 dollar micro beer towers you can buy. (cheaper for macro) its 7 or so beers so its actually a great deal especially for the group, or your own personal if your ready to get drunk.

V- i think the pints are 5, the food is normal, the beer towers are a solid deal. reasonably priced but not somethign you would say is cheap either
