On-tap at Bootlegger's

A: The pour is almost amber, maybe burnt orange, with a finger of khaki colored head.

S: Pretty typical Belgian aromas happening here. A lot of yeast contributions such as banana, bubblegum, and miscellaneous spice notes (most notably, pepper and coriander). As the beer warmed up a little bit, a lot of peach aroma started to come through.

T: Bubblegum, bananas, and peaches are all (again) very strong in terms of their presence. I get some decent spice character and quite a bit of malt, which is mostly toffee and bread flavors.

M: The body is medium with a lively carbonation.

D: My other favorite from the pilot beers. This one was really quite well done.

On-tap at Bootlegger's,

A: Pours a dark orange, darker than I expected for sure, perhaps we are looking at a Belgian amber. Medium white head, no lace.

S: Peppery hops and spice notes, crystal malt, semi-sweet.

T: Good undercurrent of "amber" malt flavour. The malt melds very well with the yeast and the hops, making a grassy rustic semi-sweet flavour which is just delicious.

M: Medium-bodied, firm crisp carbonation, refreshing, easy to drink.

D: My clear favourite of my day at Bootlegger's, hope they make this one a regular, great job Leo.
