Date suggests 12 oz bottle is late July 2016. Oh boy. Poured into Teku glass.

L: Shockingly, beer is mostly clear red/amber. 2F head, good retention, nice lacing and ring.

S: Roasty malts, some citrus still hanging about, some yeast. Earthy. Not bad for age.

T: Best I can say is it tastes like a nice crisp autumn day. Malts are a bit forward, pretty earthy. Solid, but unspectacular. A little bit of ABV heat at the end.

F: Light bodied, medium carbonation. Balance is OK, construction is close. It's not a crusher with the higher ABV. Probably would be best if that was a few notches down.

O: Decent, if a little boozy red ale.

A: poured from a 22 oz bottle into an imperial pint glass, red copper colored with a short yellow white head that lingers leaving some lacing, clear

S: light C hops, grapefruit, grain

T: grapefruit peel, caramel malt sweetness, pine, nice balance between hop bitterness and malt sweetness

M: medium body, medium carbonation, leaves a hoppy film aftertaste

O: ok representation of the style, not much complexity but good balance of flavors
