A: poured from a 22 oz bottle into a pint glass, yellow orange with no head at all, cloudy, looks like cider
S: heavy on yeast, wheat, banana, clove, cardamon, slight lemon
T: slight lemon freshness, hint of orange, heavy on the heffeweizen yeast flavors
M: lacks carbonation, slightly oily
O: their other offerings are much better

Bottled on 7/24/15. Lot: 15142.
Pours a murky whitish-orange with a foamy off-white head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grain, earth, spice, yeast, dried citrus peel, and slight lemongrass aromas. Taste is much the same with earth, spice, yeast, dried citrus peel, and slight lemongrass flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with solid traditional witbier characteristics, but the lemongrass presence is quite subtle all around.
Serving type: bottle.

Appearance: Light yellow, like white whine, with a big white head.
Smell: Lemon, yeast.
Taste: Belgian yeast, citrus, spices (pepper, lavender).
Mouthfeel: Thin and crisp with plenty of carbonation.
Overall: Good hot weather beer (it was about 90F when I had it). Packs a lot of different flavors in, while none of them are over the top. Reminds me of a light saison.

I'm not a big fan of " summer " beer but I like a crisp pilsner or Hefe, or APA.
This is bland, tame, and I get less lemongrass than expected.
. Snooze city, BUT: if you are a fan of light summer beer without strong flavors
: it might hit the spot
