My first sour wheat ale ever. Purchased with a staff discount, adding up to $6.45. Brought it home and chilled it quickly in my freezer with some damp paper towels wrapped around it. Pours a soft, murky color with a head that comes to life quick and goes just the same. Distinguished lacing all around. Using these words and terms makes even me cringe. Let's be plain and honest here.

A nice import beer, smells tangy and you can sense that sourness in the aroma. First taste is a little strange, but you learn to love it. It's not overly sour or even very sour. It's a comfortable, balanced tartness that actually makes you want to drink more instead of puckering. Would I recommend it for a hot summer day? Absolutely. If you're a man or woman who likes a good, clean domestic beer like Bud, Pabst, Bud-Light, Coors, Molson, etc, this beer is worth a try. I believe you can only get it in a 750ml size, so why not? It's one beer and it clocks in at just under 4.00% so you won't get slammed like you would drinking some other craft. It's a great introduction into the sour ale/wheat ale genre and I can say I'll drink this again.

22 from Bottleworks in seattle. Hazy deep yellow. Thin white headed disappears quickly. Smell is sour with some general funkiness indicative of sour mash/kettle beers. Taste is tart wheat, lots of citrus with a puckering finish. Not crazy sour but sour enough to be bright and refreshing. Medium bodied, perfect carbination for the style. Very nicely done.
