Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a pitch black beer with a small tan head. The aroma is dark coffee with some chocolate thrown into the mix. The flavor is great, excellent coffee taste.

Pours dark brown but not completely opaque. 1 finger tan head which disappears to a thin layer of cream. Some lacing left behind.

Aroma is bitter espresso and fresh coffee grinds. Some earthy hop notes. Roasted malt.

Taste like the aroma. Very coffee forward. Roasted malt, molasses, and bitter chocolate underneath. Oats Earthy hops.

Medium body maybe even slightly thin. Moderate carbonation. Smooth creamy, luscious oatmeal stout mouth feel. Coffee lingers going to some bitterness.

A very nice but simple coffee stout. Good coffee flavors combine with a fantastic creamy feel on the tongue.

A- Pitch black with a one finger head and some thick lacing.

S- Dark roasted coffee. Some chocolate.

T- Cold brewed coffee. Bitter chocolate. Some sweetness to balance it out.

M- Medium low carbonation. Some astringency from the coffee bite. Creamy.

D- A superb coffee stout from a quality southern brewery! Definitely recommend this beer if you come across it.

Chocolatey, roasty, nutty malt and coffee notes form the aroma.

Flavor is more coffee dominant, with a roasty bitter finish. It's a bit more bitter than I'd prefer. There's a harshness lingering in the finish.
