Pours a hazy pale gold or straw color from the can with a considerable head of loose bubbles that quickly collapses into the liquid beneath it. The nose is soft with a trace of spicy hop character, some subtle graininess, and a hint of lemon soda. Solidly medium-bodied. Quite approachable flavor-wise, Bearded Lady offers a bit of citrusy tartness, a fruity crispness not unlike a Golden Delicious apple, and a tangy, ever-so-slightly bitter linger in the finish. Enjoyable overall, but more of a quaffable beer than one to sit and ponder at length.

I tried the Bearded Lady at the Pie Factory in Florence, Alabama. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that left some lace. The scent had hints of lemon. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. There was some biscuit and lemon presence. The Mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a good beer.

Quite sessionable with a sturdy hop-profile. While not too hoppy in-and-of itself, I felt that the hoppiness did overpower the wheat flavors from the malt.

Poured from a 12 OZ can into a pint glass. The appearance is a murky straw color with a small white head. The aroma is full of wheat and malt. The taste is bready and has a nice malt flavor. Overall, an excellent American Wheat Ale.

I have the bearded lady in a can. I thought it was very good for a beer out of a can. I would definitely buy this beer again.

Can to nonic pint glass, the appearance was a glossy yellow color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace to leave barely any lace.
The aroma had some citrus sweet pulp, sweet wheat, light grassy sweet and a touch of floral gravitated into the final blend.
The flavor moderately guided the sweet citrus pulp to the wheat and grassy sweetness. Floral leaned way back. Aftertaste was sweet wheat with the citrus pulp.
The mouthfeel was light bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, pretty decent APWA, leaned sweeter for the most part but perhaps could have used a bit more bitterness in the hops or even a little tang from the wheat. Still, I could probably give this another go, to be honest.

Poured from 12 oz can dated 4/13/2015 into snifter.

A: Slightly hazy pale lemon yellow with 2-3 finger soapy white head. Nice retention but left relatively little lacing.

S: Light cracker malts, and lemon peel. Subtle yeast eaters.

T: Pale wheat malts and light lemon notes.

M: Medium body with light crisp finish.

O: As an easy drinking summertime brew, this one works just fine.
