came here looking for a few beers in particular, and was told by a friend that they have a good selection. came here second after going to the location on main street in waltham.

They have a very high quality selection, the IPA's are fresh and some of the imperial stouts may already be aged, I picked up a chocolate oak aged yeti with 1.5 years on it, and it was excellent.

The service is great, if you need something just ask one of the people working there and they are more than willing to help you find whatever it is that you are looking for.

the selection is pretty good at this location, nothing to hard to find, but they do have a fairly solid selection.

definitely worth a stop in even if you went to the main street venue and found what you were looking for. you might find somehting you werent looking for here, like i did with the chocolate oak aged yeti

Quality service - friendly, informed staff - decent selection of beer.

Gordon's has beer tastings regularly on site. The hold neat events with local breweries and the staff is pretty friendly. They even have a beer manager who will come right out and try and help you. His recommendations are pretty good too.

The first time I went in to Gordan's, I really wasn't expecting to see such a well stocked assortment of beers. The have your typical macros and a solid selection of local, domestic and foreign beers. Their craft selection is really stellar, but I do worry about the display. A lot of the bottles are sitting out on a shelf. How long are they there for - nobody knows! If the store turns a good volume around, this may not be an issue and I have yet to have a bottle where it has been an issue.

All and all, I would say that this is definitely the place to buy your craft beer in Waltham.

This was my first time into this Gordon's. I'm sure that I may edit this review in the future because of that. There seemed to be a good selection of imported beers. Sad that only the really local or major national beers were represented. Store was kinda cramped and packed with all the choices so I can understand the need to pick and choose. However with the American beer improving on a daily basis and better than most imports I'd like to see a higher concentration on them. Didn't really talk to anyone so I don't have a comment on the service. And all the prices seemed to be relative to everywhere else if not cheaper.

I've decided to edit my review of Gordon's Main St. Waltham location because I may have been a little harsh on particular people at the store, which in hindsight is unfair and probably has done more harm than the number of laughs it was designed to invoke.

Gordon's as an establishment is a fantastic group of stores...each location has it's own personality...and therefore suits some people better than others. The Main St. location in Waltham is the flagship location, the biggest, the most "big-box" feeling of the stores and understandably has the widest range of pluses and minuses. The prices there are great, the variety is pretty good (there's ALWAYS room for more beer), and the service in general is good.

Joe, the GM of Gordon's does a bang-up job captaining the Gordon's ship, and Nate, the Craft Beer guy is always bringing new and exciting beers to the store...not to mention a wealth of knowledge. Keep up the good work guys!

I used to be a regular at the Moody St. location when I lived on Crescent St. in Waltham. I still stop by from time to time when there is a special tasting event.

The beer selection and quality has started to pick up since Nate started doing the buying, but it still does not yet compare to the other two stores.

The store manager is a great guy, but there is rarely someone in the store that knows beer and the cashiers always seem to be more interested in their conversations than helping customers.
