This is a very typical BevMo location with the same layout and options as other stores in SoCal. Service is pretty good, but you have to seek out help if you really need it. You can sometimes find more of the allocated stuff here since the Antelope Valley isn't really known for being a beer destination.

This is a large discount store with a large beer selection, relative to the stores in the Antelope Valley. They have a good selection of CA craft breweries, but other regions are disappointingly represented. Prices are decent for the area. Handling and age of the beer seems good. Most of the staff are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about beer. Overall this is a good, safe bet for the AV area, but don't expect to find anything rare or limited.

Stopped in here (today) because it was the closest place to my hotel and it received decent reviews on BA. First, the beer is all stuffed, hidden in the back and represents the smallest area of the store. Second, very few local breweries are available here. The vast majority of the "craft" brews here are from brewers of the mediocre, in fact, after reviewing the selection I could not help myself but think of "the land of the misfit toys". Third, there is no such thing as making your own six pack. I tried to do so and the guy at the counter turned me back to a different worker who then proceeded to show me a small display shelf with about 10 different beers on it. Those were the only beers sold in six packs that you can purchase individually. If your looking for that special brew expect to leave the store disappointed.

Just moved into the AV and this was my first stop for beer. Moving here from out of state I was really hoping to get a selection of California craft beer; the store is severely lacking in that area. Almost none of the SD, OC, LA, IE breweries are represented. I think I saw more stuff from Oregon than CA. That being said, the selection is adequate, but the beer is definitely not the main concern for this BevMo. The service was good, and the three people on the floor were already available and asked if I needed any help. I didn't ask for anything so I can't comment on their level of knowledge. Overall, a nice beer store that could be better.

I live in the AV and this store is literally 5 minutes from my house so whenever I am in a pinch for some beer I stop here. The store is always clean and well kept which is something I like. The store itself has a wonderful supply of any and all alcohol you are looking for which is something I like since I also love whisky

The beer secion is kind of the red headed step child of the store and it is evident by the empty shelves. While the selection is ok it could be way better. The one problem I have with the store is that it seems like it takes forever for them to get anything in. I was in there the other day looking for Black Butte XXIII because they usually have a good supply of Deschutes products and since I had already picked one up at Total Wine I figured they would have it. After looking for about ten minutes I asked the employee if they had it he responded with "deschutes makes an anniverary ale?" So needless to stay I grabbed a couple Bootleggers products and headed for the door. This store is good if you have never had craft beer but not if you are looking for limited/rare beers because it will never happen and they always use the excuse the distributor does not like to bring beer up this far. I mean really I am an housr from L.A. I dont think that is the case. Good store but could be better

This place is by far the biggest place in the AV to get alcohol. They have a wonderful wine selection if that is what you are into and a pretty good selection of craft beers. This place however is kind of a joke when it comes to beer. Not only do most of the people that work their not really know what they are talking about so they are kind of useless are far help goes. The second problem with this place is that if you are looking for something specific and they dont have it you will never get it and they always use the excuse that the distributors dont like to ship up here which is ridiculous since no more than 10 miles north of here at Park Lane do they usually get what I am looking for and if they do get it in it usually takes forever. That being said I still do stop into this place from time to time because like I said they do have a pretty good selection and a little bit better pricing than the other places in the area. they also sell meats and cheese here that you can use for parties and what not and those are always amazing. I do like this place for its convience just wish they could do alittle bit more to help out people looking to get HTF beer

Found BevMo when I was in Palmdale in 2009. Glad they are still going strong. They have a very wide selection of craft beer. A good variety for CA beer and from around the US. Mostly 6-packs and cases, but also a good selection of 750ml bottles. They did have an aisle and half for imports, but I didn't really check that.

The couple guys I talked to that worked there had some knowledge of their inventory. And if you bought something they hadn't tried, asked if you would let them know what you thought.

My first visit to a Bevmo was a complete surprise on a visit to BJ's to meet some family for dinner. This location is in a strip mall just off the 138 on Rancho Vista and 10th. There is a large parking lot out front.

The interior is open and spacious, with well- organized and well-lit aisles. The beer is in the rear of the store (aside from a couple kegs at the entrance) and is segmented by region. The West has very good representation, with brewers like Stone, Alesmith, Lost Abbey/Port, Rogue etc. There are also good selections of imports from Germany, Belgium and the UK.

Service here is pretty good, although they do not allow you to make your own singles like most grocery stores in the state allow. Bevmo also sells shipping containers on site in case you go on a shopping spree and need to either send something home or check it (which is very plausible at a store like this).

Overall I was pleased with my first Bevmo visit and plan on stopping any time I see one around California.
