The beers they had appeared fresh and there were a few people around asking if I needed any assistance, although none seemed to be acting solely in the capacity of someone who could answer any and all beer questions. The selection was pretty good for the size of the area, with the problem being that the area was quite small.

They had a decent separate area with unrefrigerated Belgian brews (including American makers of Belgian styles). Other than that, there was a refrigerated area that had a good number of breweries, although the number of styles from each brewery was quite small.

The new location now faces Naperville Road just north of Butterfield Road. The Butterfield Tapeoom is right at the front of the store awash with windows for the best view of the parking lot.
24 rotating taps and the majority are Midwest breweries; currently Goose Island, Founders, Great Lakes, Off Color, and Two Brothers, among others.
Can/bottle list is also good quality, but I saw no list and the coolers were mostly out of my view. I could see Revolution, GI, and Half Acre.
Service was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.
Pretty good option for beer in Wheaton.

The Store has moved from the Rice Lake location to the shopping center next to or behind it at 89 Danada Square East. They added the Butterfield Taproom near the front of the store. It has 22 taps and a "tap takeover schedule" for the summer. There are many Goose island, a few Founder's ,some local breweries.they serve beer, wine ,and coffee here along with food.

This is an interesting store. The beer area is quite small. Small enough that it took me two trips through the store to find it. Once I finally did, I was greeted with a middling selection of imports and craft beers. The store puts a big emphasis on buying local, so the majority of the stock was from IL and the immediate surrounding states. Most beer was cold, but the Belgians and singles were on shelves next to the cooler. The only beers from the "Big Two" were their craft and import offerings. This is not the place to come for Bud Light.

Prices seemed reasonable. I didn't see any dedicated beer/wine staff, but the employees of the store were nice enough.

Next time I'm back in the area, I'll probably stop in again for local beers.
