It is of course mostly a wine store, but just like their wines, they only have good beer, no crap. Turnover is relatively good. Prices are usually slightly lower than the other Montgomery County locations I go to. There's always at least one friendly guy there who's had all the beers there and knows his stuff; often there are two of them. Because of their wine connections, they do occasionally have something I don't see anywhere else, like a Quebec import that people near the brewery can't even get bottles of. Worth an occasional trip to.

Beautiful store but it's clear this is a wine store that sells beer.

Not a bad selection. Someone is trying and they don't have much space to work with. I think the store could be re arranged to make the beer selections a bit more comprehensive

excellent customer service.

Very good prices.

Small, boutique wine shop in one of those planned community/outdoor malls. Very clean and high end decor. I think there was a cheese tasting or something going on in one corner when I was there. Focus is wine and there is a limited selection of your expected local beers with a small import selection (Chimay, Duchesse, etc). However, being Montgomery County prices are insane. $23 for a 750 of Chimay combined with a selection that doesn't go beyond your typical grocery store variety makes this a pass for most BAs I would expect.

Reasonably priced for the area.

This is a great place to check out if you are in one of the area hotels. It's walkable from all of the Marriott family of hotels, buried in the outdoor mall in the vicinity of Dick's. I passed it a few times thinking it was just a wine store until I looked in the window and saw cases of Arrogant Bastard and bottles of DT, etc.

It's a wine store first for sure. But there is enough beer in here to suit me. Not somewhere I would go to stock up but worth picking up a few bottles to get thru the week in the hotel. Believe me, none of the restaurants in the RIO area have any good beer. Sure you can get a Sam Adam's at Joe's Crab Shack but that's about it.

So I pop in here regularly since I travel to the area often. I've gotten the Above mentioned beers, plus Corsendonk Brown, Three Philosophers, Brooklyn Local #1, Skullsplitter, etc. I have seen Troegs, Abita, and a few others in six packs but this place is mostly singles and big bottles. Sixers are a little high in price, and the singles in the coolers are "bar prices", but they cut me a big break off of that when I bought several.

This place is an oasis in the desert if you are in the Washingtonian/RIO area.
