A few months ago The Greenery Market was at least reasonably priced, but now I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you're filthy rich, have no way to to drive down the street to Side Door Liquor Store, and are looking for a specific beer that no one else carries. Other than that, the prices are just too insane to even consider going here anymore.

Bottles will cost about twice to three times as much as would be considered the standard price. St. Bernardus Abt 12 is about $12 for a 12 oz bottle. Chimay bombers are about $25.

One of the best craft beer selections in the city. About 100 different beers when I counted in April 2011, though there seemed to be an increase in variety when I visited a month later.

Their selection includes all 3 Chimays and plenty of other non trappist abbey beers, ipas, and stouts. This might be the only place in the city to score some certain beers.

This place does Beer Tastings. So far it has done one that I know of. If it's anything like the wine tasting, it'll cost around $10 and will include food.

The place is connected to a restaurant, so you can sit down and drink a beer or buy them to go at the adjoining market.

What beer? If you stay on East side do not bother going there. Waste of time and gas. I've seen better selection in gas stations. I wasted Sunday morning for that?
One more thing "Sun Harvest" almost same result. You are better of going to "Buddy's Beer Barn" (Montana East Side) or "World Market".
Coolers in the back had what i call it El Paso Special: Corona, Modello etc. Blue Moon, Full Sail and couple Belgian bombers.
I think they had a bigger lip balm selection.
Do not go there for beer.

The restaurant is in the mall, attached to a package store that sells wine and fancy groceries to people who want to pay too much for that sort of thing. The restaurant itself doesn't have much for atmosphere--again, it's in a mall--but the staff was courteous and the food was decent.

The beer selection is one four-door fridge with about forty varieties. Decent selection given the space, though some of that space is taken up by adjunct lagers purportedly from foreign shores (Sapporo, Red Stripe, etc).

These folks have access to certain breweries: Rogue, Stone, Avery, Franciskaner, Spaten, St. Peter's, and I've seen others.

Slim pickings for beer in the El Paso area:
Buddy's Beer Barn, Sun Harvest Farms, the Greenery, and now Crave Kitchen. This place was one of the first to start carrying good stuff and I've sustained myself in this adjunct beer desert for two years by going back and forth between these places and a few others.

Good news is other places are starting to catch on. Just in time for me to move. Here's hoping Arizona is better.

The Greenery Restaurant and Market is located in Sunland Park Mall, which is on the West Side of El Paso. The Market is definately in the top 5 in town for beer selection. The restaurant and bar offer good food with good service. The bar offers many beers on tap that cannot be found at other places in town and gets extra extra points (in my book) for being a pioneer in the El Paso area as far as craft beer offerings are concerned. Other restaurants are starting to slowly catch up to the Greenery's offerings, but the Greenery is still one of the best in town. One of the coolest things about the Greenery is the ability to have beer from the Market brought into the restaurant. The food, cleanliness, and service are very consistant in a market that is typically very unconsistant. I would currently recommend this place for food, beer, wine, cheese, meats, and other gourmet food and grocery.
