Pours a nice golden clear color with a great banana and clove nose. The flavor was real heavy on the banana and clove. It's all you could taste , but very fresh and I didn't mind it so much. Overall a good German beer.

Pours a lightly hazy dull orange in color with two fingers of white head. Aroma has bready wheat as well as some banana and a touch of clove. Taste amps up the fruit my esters a bit but remains a bit restrained. Medium-light body and moderate carbonation. Overall a solid and tasty hefeweizen but not my favorite.

Pours a beautiful hazy golden. Head is dense and white. Not super aromatic. May be hints of banana. There's definitely those banana and clove esters but it's a little cleaner than other hefes. A very nice beer for a hot day.

Look: opaque orange/amber color, big creamy head.
Smell: lots of good fruit and spice, banana and clove, orange, and a bit of apricot
Taste: follows nose, tons of citrus and sweet bready malt
Feel: moderate carbonation, medium body, very creamy and full

Overall pretty solid hefeweizen, creamy and fruity. Nothing too special but decent and easy to drink

Multi-toned milky yellow to amber, depending on where viewed in glass. Creamy, foamy off-white head of moderate retention, slightly on the fizzy side. Very sweet aroma, like a lager past its best-buy date, higher in fusels or esters than it generally should be. Still has some lemon and banana character to it. Palate is a little less concerning, a good balance of bread, sweet banana, musty yeast, light citrus, light cloves. Breathy aftertaste leaves me wanting more. Medium-bodied but nearly full, and a medium level of velvety carbonation.

Decanted from a 500 ml (16.9 fl.oz.) bottle; no production date.
A: Hazy golden orange color with a large (> 1 inch), persistent head and substantial lacing. Yeast remnants evident.
S: Sweet malts with banana and clove notes
T: Similar to smell but with even stronger clove flavor.
M: Medium body, with persistent effervescence present, and lively mouthfeel.
O: Really a sumptuous example of the style.

Pours a hazy golden straw color with a distinct orange hue. The carbonation is visible and there is some sediment floating about. The head is about a fingernail length high and retains well.
Lots of banana in the nose, alongside orange peel and cloves. Typical Hefeweizen aroma.
The banana carries over to the palate and adds light sweetness. Yeasty, with a hint of citrus and lemon, and peppery for balance. The carbonation is prickly at first, however it loosens up as it warms, which, makes for a silky finish. Light but with some character.
A great example of the style. I will have again.

When poured it looks like your typical and ideal golden, fluffed head, foggy, head dissipated to a steady 3 millimeters thick quickly. Smell is classic Bavarian Hefe. Feel is a little on the more carbonated side, but this is usually what I've found in the past with large singles of other beers. The taste is as prominent and thick as its body, nice sweet clove. The body is the star and the taste the co-star in this one. I like it, fantastic beer.
One of the best anniversary gifts ever. :)
