Rich coppery amber in color. Smooth and balanced overall. Definitely runs higher on the malt and lesser on the hops. On tap at Abbey Brewing Co. Miami.

the flavors here are good, and like all of the beer they make, this is well made, i just dont think i am the biggest fan of the recipe. its not quite an english style, as there really isnt much of that yeast character here, but its definitely on the maltier side, and the hops taste like more of a european bittering and grassy dry thing than a juicy or piney american or new world style hopping. maybe its just not dry hopped, but i dont smell a whole lot of hops in here, i get more of the bready character of the malt, and a little dab of sweetness that goes with it. its certainly balanced in the flavor, but possibly at the expense of the hops. some slight pine to it, a moderate yeast element, and plenty of grainy body. it tastes fresh to me, just rather uninteresting, and a decided deviation from what has become popular in the style. this is old school session beer, just a slightly hop forward ale for all day drinking. its good, but its not sexy, if that makes sense. i prefered their belgian styles by a mile.
