Cheers! considers itself to have the best selection of craft beers in Delmarva. It does in fact have a good quality of selection, especially with Maryland based beers (Flying Dog, EVO, Heavy Seas, Tall Tales etc.). It also has a good selection of rarer non-MD beers including Oxbow, Maine Beer Co., Founders and Allagash. They also have a growler station which shoots to have hard to get beers not available in bottles/cans. They even have a homebrewing section near the back of the store and a good variety of wines.
My big problem with Cheers! is some buyer beware issues. 1st if you are looking for a rare beer that they may get, it is practically impossible to get an answer from their staff if they have it, when they will have it, how much it will be and if they are getting it. A lot of the staff are college kids who seem to have minimal knowledge on beer, so you need to know what you are doing. 2nd is that you need to look at the bottles to make sure they haven't been sitting on the shelf forever. You might find something cool but it's covered in dust and might have been sitting on the shelf for a long time.

This Cheers is part of a gas station, yo! But what a selection. All the Bruery you can imagine, plus Evil Twin, Belgians, Abbaye Bon Chien, 4Hands, Schlafly and lots of six-packs. Super helpful staff, ready to recommend and look up beers for you. They get the rarer stuff, barrel-aged releases and such. Good prices too, and super close to Evolution Brewing.
This place is da bomb, son.

My go to place. Even though I don't live anywhere near, I go by at least once a week to stock up.
You have to cover a few areas to see their whole selection, but staff almost always asks if you need help. And when you tell them what you're looking for, they're quick to find it for you or tell you if/when they can get it. Most the staff is very knowledgeable, and there's usually at least a couple people there to help out.
They get all the special releases they can. Good selection of regional beer, and one of the best selections around for European options. Also, they now have great options on tap to fill your growlers.

Great selection of beers & wine for a small town location. Very friendly and helpful service. Cheers! also has a great selection of cigars you can pair with your beers.

Great beer selection is always evolving, they also have plenty of wine and cigars. The employees have tried a lot of the beers in stock and are knowledgeable about the different styles. They have beer tastings pretty often and as an added bonus they started carrying homebrew supplies.

At Evolution, talking with the bartender: So where can I find Spring Migration? Cheers, just two miles down the road, right after the University. After lunch, done and done.
Atmosphere: A full service gas station/liquor store - how nice to have at school! Inside to escape a torrent, wine and liquor aplenty, beer in coolers and the good stuff located prolly in the middle of the store. The store itself is a grand Maryland-style store - short on personality but long on selection.
Quality: Ample selection - both beer, hooch, and grape juice. I found what I was looking for very easily.
Service: Didn't seek any out...
Selection: Winner Winner Chicken Dinner. Not only did I snag my sought-after Spring Migration, but there was plenty of Firestone Walker, Stillwater, and Evolution. Double DBA? Check. Lot 3 six pack? Check. A better selection that I'd expect in a college town liquor store. A must-stop if you are passing through on the way to OCMD.
Food: N/A - it is a convenience store type though so there is snack food.

Cheers is hands down the best and really the only place to for great craft beers in Salisbury. They have a great selection of all formats from variety packs to bombers of all the staples DFH, Rogue, Oskar Blues, Stone, Schneider, and so on along with a good amount of Belgians and seasonals. They also seem to always be willing to add new things as well.
The staff is extremely helpful and they really know their products. Peter and Mike are extremely helpful along with the rest of the staff. They will special order, too. I believe if they don't have something that you're looking for.

I have been going to Cheers for close to 20 years now. Hell I got a keg of the original Wild Goose Amber here for my wedding in 1993. Used to hit it when my folks moved here and now that I have been in Salisbury for 12 years it is always my go to store. Damn good selection for the Natural Lite wasteland that is around the Eastern Shore.
Pretty much top shelf stuff though some of the beers like Magic Hat and Tommy Knocker I could do without. Just my preference. The choices have steadily improved over the years. Maybe a few too many generic "imports"-I mean that shelf space could be better suited to more US craft beers.
Service is usually pretty good though some of the college kids have that deer in the headlights look if you ask for something in particular. I once had a 10 minute discussion about Double Bastard even existing. Mike the owner is a great guy and has gone out of his way to make sure they have certain items or they will get them.
Selection is great for the area like I said-full DFH line, Clipper City/Heavy Seas, Anchor, Oskar Blues, Brooklyn, Sam, Sierra, Stone, a few Stoudt's/Victory/etc. Nice selection of 750 Belgians/Ommegang/ and others. Again for the size and area this is the best place going. Also has the entire new Evolution Craft Beers from DE. 1 plus is they moved all of the malternatives to another case to free up shelf space. A few too many imports-that selection could get trimmed down. They obviously do a college business so I can certainly understand the many cases of BMC.
One other minor complaint is that I often see beers an hour or 2 away from here before they come in locally. Not their fault-the wonderful world of the 3 tier system I am sure.
Best store in town for beer selection. Reasonably priced and easy to find.
