Since the late 80s, I have been eating here. Good food, nice selection of beers, and nice atmosphere. It can get crazy at times (especially at lunch). Awesome french fries, good burgers, and excellent pastrami melt.

I had the El Toro Stout and Racer 5 IPA. Both excellent choices. Thursdays are Pliny the Elder nights.

They claim the "best burgers in town", and I can't argue with that. Wide variety of burgers, cheese steaks, chicken sandwiches, and salads. All in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. But beware, if you drop by for lunch, get there before Noon...the line may be out the door.

Nice selection of drafts, headed by Pliny, but supported by Anderson Valley, Stone, El Toro, Bear Republic, Sierra, and others. All in all, a great place to enjoy a brew, a burger, a ballgame, and your friends! And on a sunny day, the patio is the place to be.

Stopped by with my friend Mark after a stop at B3 in Los Altos.

Walking in on a Saturday afternoon and the line to order was out the door-alas Saturday is half off burger day. Bam-love it already. Mark grabbed to fresh pints of Pliny the Elder while we were waiting to order. Order at a window and pick up a little down the ocunter.

Selection of beer was good, very good-El Torro Oatmeal Stout, Pliny, Green Flash IPA, Stone IPA, and about 6-7 other beers.

Food was very good-double cheeseburger nice.

Would come here in a heart beat with my wife.

Went here to watch the Sharks play the Kings during the first round of the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs. This may have affected the atmosphere a bit because the Sharks were winning, which lifted most people into a better mood.

This place is a decent BBQ joint--they have lots of grilled options and although most of the food is pretty simple American grill-style, it is all dressed up pretty well so that it is a bit more rich.

There are different deals on different days of the week; I went on a Monday so the Philly Cheese Steaks were 1/2 off.

Ordered a pitcher of Pliny the Elder and a Beg For Mercy Cheese Steak; it was spicy, greasy, and hit the spot...which is what I expected.
The Pliny tasted delicious with this, and it appeared that the lines were kept clean.

All in all, they had about 5 "craft" offerings out of the 15 drafts available: SN PA, Racer 5, PtE, El Torro Brewing Co's Oatmeal Stout, and the AVBC's Summer Solstice. I had been here in the past, and I believe that they keep typically keep the lines clean, even though most people tended to order BMC offerings.

This is a cool place to go for a burger and a pitcher of beer, especially if you want to catch a game. Very affordable joint and the people that work there are really nice and willing to chat with you.

An interesting place, to say the least. Its located in an industrial park like complex, but you'll forget that once you walk inside or sit on the patio. I thought it was a pizza place at first, but the menu definitely speaks grill. All the ordering is done at the counter; there is no waitstaff. Fortunately, the counter person I spoke to was knowledgeable about the offerings and provided sample tastings of the beers without me having to ask (always a plus). The beer selection is small, but the six to eight craft brews they had offered a nice variety. The food was just above average. I had a roasted garlic & blue cheese burger. The burger was overcooked and tasteless, but the toppings did dress it up. Also had an order of garlic fries which led me to the conclusion that they're overhyped (and smell much better than they taste). The patio is great. It's the place to sit if you go there. Despite the fact that the place fronts St. Lawrence Expy., you're well insulated from the street by a wall and greenery. All-in-all, I'd go back next time I'm in town. Despite my mediocre food, the menu was extensive enough to give something else a try. And its a nice change from the craft brew chains that seem to be in every town in CA.
