This place has been opened for a few years and I had never been in it until about a year and a half ago. I was surprised to see that they sell alcohol. They have a great wine selection and a number of micro and macro brews. They have a create your own six pack where you can mix up any kind of beer you want. As the reviewer below me said, you can probably get a better selection of both beer and wine at other liquor stores, but they do chance up their stock quite often here and it's at least worth checking out every now and then

They have a good selection here with everything you would expect. They do not follow the seasonal beers as much as I would like but they do carry a unique selection. The best part is the make your own six pack on the end of the isle so you can try all the beers you have heard about but do not feel like spending a good deal of money buying a bunch of six packs. They focus mainly around beer they know sells well. The staff has very limited knowledge of their selection even though they are very friendly. Their vast wine selection is also worth mentioning although it is a bit pricey. This store is worth checking out especially if you are just starting into micro brews. The ability to mix and match allow you to find your favorites. If you are into bells, rogue, new holland, or pyramid you should check this place out. You will probably be pleasantly suprised by their selection.

This is the newest Columbus location and it's pretty much the same as the rest. Parking is good, and the area is nice. A Barnes and Noble sits not from it so one could get a book and a brew and have a nice afternoon. The quality is a tad above average with a good selection of Rogue, Unibroue, Corsendonk, Sam Adam's, and a healthy selection of singles. All of the beer is in the back of the store on the left (as you walk). The people are friendly and halfway knowledgeable about craft brew but wine is their specialty. All in all this is a good place to get a nice selection of above average brews but if you're in the area I'd recommend 'From the Vine' up the road a ways.

I happened on this place by accident. I had stopped at a Best Buy in the same strip mall and saw the World Market as I walked back to my car. I almost didn't check it out since I was somewhat disappointed by the World Market in Des Moines. Since I had some time to waste I popped in to check out their selection and was pleasantly surprised.

I realize that geography has a lot to do with the better beer and greater variety in this particular store (as compared to the first one that I visited). They have one large set of wooden shelves containing six packs and a fairly large 'end cap' with at least 50-60 different singles. No cooler. I picked up 2 mixed sixers and that was after I dropped a large amount at From The Vine (a great beer store just a short drive down the road). I got Anderson Valley, Bell's and a 12 oz. Unibroue Ephemere Apple (which I've never seen anywhere else), among others.

This is a solid place for beer with a varied selection that would keep me busy for awhile if I lived in the area. Even if you've been in other unimpressive World Markets, this one may surprise you.

This store fancies itself as a better version of Pier One, which it is. So it surprises you when you walk to the back and see the wine. Then to the back of the wine section, you see their beer. They have a very good selection of singles and sixpacks They have the packaged boxed sets as well of beers around the world. Better than the Lennox spot, but most places are since that is a small strip. Wish they had a cold section at these places.

A good place to find foreign and domestic craft beers at a reasonable price. The sampler packs house singles of 10 different foreign beers or domestics, but there's no way to know how long the packages have been on the floor and there is no refrigeration. Good selection of packaged beers from around the world and you can buy singles of most. Service is basically serve yourself, but the checkouts are quick and easy.

Decent selection of beers. They seem to carry just about the entire line for a select number of breweries. They've got a few I haven't really seen to many other places. The big plus is the large number of beers you can buy singles of. Carriers are available for mix-n-match 6 packs. One downside is that none of the beer is refrigerated. Staff is courteous and helpful, although not necessarily knowledgable of the beers they carry. They put together domestic and import sampler packs that could make nice gifts. Prices are typical.

This World Market is in the Polaris Mall area of north Columbus. It is part of a strip mall so parking is always available, although you may have to walk a ways.

World Market is a great store. It is like Pier 1 but with alcohol. They have a selection of wines and beers from all over the world. The best thing is their "beer endcap", which allows to to mix and match single bottles from pretty much any of the 6-packs they carry. What a wonderful way to sample beers!

You can also find some Belgian brews like Corsendonk in larger bottles. Regionals like Great Lakes are available as well. All in all, this is a one-stop place to try 50+ beers without having to buy more than one bottle at a time. While you're there, you can get a chair from Japan and some placemats from India.

Service is decent. You can usually find a person in the wine/beer section who knows what they are talking about.
