We had the opportunity to stop here after a particularly long tattoo session and while a little busier than normal, it hit the spot well enough, if not a little louder and more hectic than expected. There was a birthday party spilling out into other tables and the live sports was kicked up to 11, but other than that, it's your typical Lizard location with a respectable tap and bottle list and more fried food and bar favorites than you can shake a stick at.

A- You walk in and the first thing you see is the servers station, then as you walk pass that you enter a huge area where the bar is and it is a very nice size bar never over crowded and always a good seat available, but I never really been there on the weekends so it might get busy and get crowded, they have 2 huge projecter screens and a slue of big screen T.V.s with a diffrent variety of sports on each with 2 or 3 T.V.s showing the same program, and they also have a decent size patio and
dining area away from the bar for a more family atmosphere, and we can't forget about Doug the friendly and kid favorite iguana.

Q- The quality is good they have a huge menu and awesome specials trough out the week, with diffrent things on the menu that makes you want to try something diffrent every time you visit.

Ser- The service is always above great, and we seem to get the same waitress everytime we go, which I apreciate cause it's nice to know what type of service your going to get, very nice and always there when you need something.

Sel- They have a huge selection of beer to choose from, and they offer a diffrent beer every month which you get a free glass of the company they offer that month, as long as you get there with in the first week or two of that month, and you can also join the world tour where you have to try 100 beers in a year and if you complete the 100 beers with in that year you get a leather coat and a few other cool prizes, and the food also has a great selection.

F- The food is good, and there specials they have trough out the week makes it worth it's while.

V- There a little pricey but not enough to stop me from going atleast once a month and it's about 35 min.s from where I live, I am a advit fan and will continue to be.

Well anyone in the area can tell you about Winking Lizard. They are known for their "World Tour of Beers" which features 100 bottled beers that member of the club get points for trying. They also have a nice draft selection; Hoppy Hoppy Handle, Great Lakes Seasonal, Belgium, DFH Seasonal, Thirsty Dog Seasonal, Sierra Nevada Seasonal, Sam Adams Seasonal are their craft handles which change every month. They also have a Glass of the Month beer which I love because well you keep the glass! Service isn't the most impressive, I've only had 2 or 3 servers/bartenders that actually knew a little something about beer, I almost dread having to sit down in the restaurant part and deal with a server as most of the time you order and they get confused to where you have to point to it on the placemat! But there in lies the great part of Winking Lizard! For people like us who know beer they have their beer list right in front of you on your placemat. So you know what all is on draft and in bottles on demand! Food is good, they are known for their wings and pizza all I know is my burger was overcooked!

A- walk through past the hostess station, and the place becomes big and open, like a gymnasium filled with hi and low top tables. big projection screens for the big games flank the bar and about a dozen LCDs and other flat screens adorn the walls giver the viewer a good view from just about anywhere. there's also a patio for the smokers. they play current hip hop and rock on the stereo but the songs seem to repeat themselves often.

Q- the place is clean, the kitchen seems clean, and the beer is fresh. i've tried alot there and never got a bad bottle. a few empty kegs though, and i got the 1/2 glass for free, and that's a good sign meaning they go through their products quickly.

S- every bartender and server i've encountered is friendly and willing to chat if you are. i tend bar as well so i'm always trying to challenge someone in the personality department.

S- i keep the menu every time, there's almost 150 beers, 18 on tap, and a beer of the month where you get to keep the glass.

F- food is decent, standard pub/chain restaurant fare. greek pizza is my favorite. they also have weekly discounts on wings and burgers and stuff.

V- price is reasonable for the most part, but some of the high end beers are pricey (orval for example is $6.75 for a 12oz bottle)

This Winking lizard moved right up the road from where it used to be.

Inside, the bar is located at the rear. Lots of sports memorabilia adorns the wall, and TVs line the walls so you can watch from just about anywhere.

The beer selection beats just about anybody in the area. There are well over 100 beers available in bottles, and around 16 on draught. The bottles beers run the gamut from Stone, North Coast, GLBC, Ayinger, Victory, Bell's etc etc. There are a couple of gems on draught too such as Arrogant Bastard and GLBC Dortmunder Gold. What's more, they have a monthly featured beer that comes with a glass ($1 additional, it's not really free).

The Winking Lizard chain also has a wonderful beer club. If you try either 50 or 100 (depending on what time of year you start up) beers in their beer tour, you get a nice jacket for your effort. It costs $10 to sign up. The best part of this club is you don't get sacked with a bunch of crappy macros you have to try along the way. Pretty much everything on the list is quality stuff.

The service here is typically pretty good.

The food here is above average pub fare. The wings are better than BW3 (about the same as Quaker Steak & Lube), and the pizza at this location was really good.

This is a great spot to hit in Canton, and is not too far from Thirsty Dog which makes for about the best one-two punch you can muster in the city.
