The draft selection is always rotating with a wide variety of great selections and styles. They staff is knowledgable about the beers and will give you good recommendations when asked. Tastings are also available on all drafts. The food menu is a step above your standard bar food, leaning more towards the gastropub quality, but still comfort food.

The only lacking element is the bottle selection. Again, the rotating draft selection more than makes up for this.

A great neighborhood bar.

Stopped in here for lunch over the weekend.

Atmosphere is good. It's got a very open atmosphere while maintaining a fairly cozy feeling. I went only to the right side of the building where the bar and a large TV dominated the room however it seemed as though there was additional seating to the left.

Quality is good. A lot of the glasses seemed to be generic but it looked as though they had all the major glassware types covered. The beer was at a good temperature with a good amount of head.

Service was very good. Granted it seemed a bit slow but the bartender was very friendly and I never had to wait at all to order food or drink. He also knew a good amount about what he was serving as I heard him make a few recommendations to other patrons.

Selection was very good. I ordered an SN 30th Anniversary however other beers on-tap included Duchesse, Victory Storm King and Braumeister Pils, Dupont Saison, and Smuttynose Big A and Old Brown Dog. A very solid selection running the gamut of styles.

Food was very good. I had their house burger with pimento cheese, fried bacon cubes, a fried egg, and pickles along with fries fried in duck fat. Needless to say I went home happy and full.

Value is good. The burger was reasonably priced, especially considering what was on it, as were their beers.

Overall I was impressed with this place, a well thought out selection and menu. Well worth a stop if you're in the area.

This is in the up and coming end of Grant Park, near Oakland Cemetary and only about 2 blocks from 6 Feet Under. It is a converted gas station, which is a favorite building type for the owners who also run Universal Joint, Brake Pad and another place that escapes me at that moment.
A little better decor than the other locations. big open space in front of the bar with plenty of tables and 2 big booths along the back wall another smaller room off the main dining room in the front of the building. 2 outdoor seating areas. 1 in the front of the building and another on the side. Darker wood furniture and cool picturebox lamp shades on the wall lights.
Went on a Thursday night with seat yourself tables. Greeted quickly and ordered a Kona Fire Rock Pale Ale. Throughout the summer, the also offer Terrapin Golden Ale for $3.50/pint. Beer came quicky and served correctly. No frozen glass. No BMC products on tap or in bottles. They do offer PBR draft, though. After the Fire Rock, I moved to the Terrapin because of the good deal on pints. They offer 1 of each local breweries beers (Sweetwater, Atlanta Brewing and Terrapin). Chimay and Delerium were on the bottle list. Total of about 12 beers on tap and about double that for bottles.
Fairly typical bar food on the menu. But, the food quality is good, so no worries there. I had the Buffalo Chicken Quesedilla and the Sliders. Both were tasty and recommended. The also offer fish sandwiches, wings, regular burgers, etc.
It's about the closest beer bar to my neighborhood and a friend of mine only lives a couple blocks away. So, I will be a regular there. It is worth a stop if you are in the area and 6 Feet Under is too crowded.
