Yes, this was a cool store located right in Montgomery Center. I recall there being all the local brews in six packs: Longtrail, Rock Art, McNeils, etc. and plenty of growlers in the cooler as well. I was able to pick up the Mountain Ale from the brewpub in Stowe at this package store and it was as fresh as the growler that I picked up from the brewery. They have a plenty of beer on the floor too. For a small market, they do have a very good selection. With more cooler space, I'm sure they would add to the selection.

Addendum August 2009: I appreciate that you can break up the six packs and buy singles here. I was able to find Jay Peak ale and Orlio Organic, both of which have been retired. There are some interesting local beers available here.

Grocery store with a fairly large selection of beers. I was kinda surprised about how much they had here. Already poured growlers without dates seemed a little fishy, though and no dates even though they are in coolers. But with Unibroue, Allagash, Chimay, Ommegang also lining up on the warm shelf, it’s not a bad stop in this area.

This mid sized food market is located in the tiny northern Vermont out post of Montgomery, cross the street from the bar/grill/hotel and just a few minutes from the fine Black Hills Disc Golf course. I was happily surprised to find full lines of the typical ( and quite worthy) Vermont options (MH, Harpoon, Long Trail, Otter Creek, Rock Art, Trout River) including growlers from The Shed and Rock Art. On top of those, they also offer selections from Brooklyn, Chimay, Unibroue as well as some others I failed to write down. If you are lucky to find yourself in the general vicinity of this "Northern Kingdom" locale, this place will be a worthwhile stop. Seemed that just about all of the brew was kept chilled in the large cooler units in the rear to the right as you entered.
