12 oz twist off bottle as part of a sampler pack, poured into a pint glass.

A: Decent amber orange color. FIzzy white head. No lace.

S: Malt, old apples, alcohol. Strange.

T: Very strange here too. Bock? No. A little sour apples, honey, corn, unripe melon. This is not good.

M: Thin, over carbonated.

D: Why?

12oz bottle poured into a snifter.

A: Pours a clear golden amber with a 1 finger white head. A decent amount of carbonation visible in the body. Head fizzles away to a thin ring in a few minutes.

S: Sweet malt with hints of raisin and fig. Almost a cherry or apple aroma as well.

T: Has a semi-dark fruit flavor with a slight roasty malt. Some bitterness in the backend. Just tastes a little off.

M: Light body and carbonation. Feels a little slick and oily.

Overall feels like it falls a little short of the goal. Best part is the brewery and name.

Horny Goat Baby Got Bock has a medium, off-white head, a hazy, amber appearance, some bubble streams, and a nice, splotchy lacing left behind. The aroma is of syrupy-sweet bread crust and malt. Taste is of the same, with a wonderful, hefty hop bitterness showing up mid sip. Mouthfeel is medium and somewhat slick, and Horny Goat Baby Got Bock finishes semi-dry, refreshing, and very drinkable. Overall, this is quite enjoyable.
