Very nice selection - too many beers I wanted to try and not enough room in my suitcase. Managed to grab a 4-pack of KBS and 2 bottles of Ommegang's Take the Black Stout. Staff was quite knowledgeable and very helpful. Wish I would've stopped by on my first night in Newport rather than my last one.

Bridge Liquors is probably the best craft beer liquor store in Newport, RI. Upon entering, there it a large cooler filled with craft 6-packs to your right. Upon closer examination, there are some other coolers for bombers and cans.

The Belgian section (warm) includes Chimay and Unibroue bombers. They just got St. Bernardus in. Their craft selection was probably the best on the island a year ago, but it's just an order of magnitude better now.

The prices are also good for Newport. That's not to say that they're cheap. Just that they're not as outrageous as they are at some of the downtown stores.

Stopped in while on business in Newport.

Quality appeared fine, no dust, appropriate seasonals.

Service was reasonable. I was only there for a few minutes before someone asked if they could help me find something. I asked if they carried Leatherlips, since they had other Haverhill offerings, and the guy didn't know, but he made the effort to check with some of the other folks in the store (for the record, they quit carrying it b/c it wasn't selling well).

Selection was decent. From outside, the store isn't much to look at, but there is quite a bit of craft beer immediately to your right when you walk in the door. DFH, Stone, Newport Storm, Haverhill, Left Hand, Ballast, SA, Harpoon, and Victory were the ones I scribbled down. There was also a pretty big shelf of imports that I didn't pay much attention to. It is unlikely that you are going to find anything terribly exotic here, but you should be able to find something you would be happy to drink.

Value was reasonable, nothing struck me as terribly overpriced.

Overall, from the other reviews I read, this store would be as good or better a choice than the other options in the Newport area.
