This bar has far more beers than your average bar, but its selection is unique in that it offers tremendously little that most people on this site would classify as interesting. There are a lot of wheat beers and a lot of imports, not a lot of more extreme or interesting American crafts. The neighborhood is still highly transitional, and not the hip & trendy kind of transitional (like Bayview). The neighborhood might be turning around though. Bartendress was quite friendly, and this place is quite inexpensive. We watched Jeopardy with one of the regulars, which was fun, but this bar is far from beer geek transcendence.
