Poured from can into glass.

Golden yellow color, quickly dissipating head and minimal lacing. Doesn't appear to be a lot of carbonation present.

Light smell of noble hop spice, grain and corn-like sweet undertones.

Very lightly carbonated, under-carbonated even. Creamy, but needs more bubbles.

Sweet palate, very little hop bitterness comes through. Slight diacetyl butter flavor.

Overall: it's decently drinkable, but not really a pilsner, American or otherwise.

Appearance - This is a nice-looking beer with a light orange body and pretty, pure white lasting head.

Smell - The grain is delicate at the nose but the hops are lacking. The overall aroma is pleasing just not balanced for a Pils.

Taste - Again this beer has some nice, pleasant grain but the "hint of Saaz" mentioned on the brewery website is nowhere to be found.

Mouthfeel - I enjoyed the light, tingly feel of this lager in between the cheeks although it could have been smoother.

Drinkability - This is not a bad beer but is "style-awkward". It lacks the smoothness one expects from a lager and most certainly is not a Pilsner of any kind. The style classification here on BA, American Pale Lager, is much more appropriate than the one on the bottle.

12 oz. purchased near brewery with a Sept. 2013 date stamp.

A: Clear; golden yellow color. The white head faded fairly quickly to a ring and partial coat. Barely visible, fine-grained carbonation.

S: Saaz hops and malt, without much strength..

T: A fairly balanced mix of hops and malts, although the hops dominate by the finish. A bit mild and under hopped for style.

M: Light and watery body; very soft carbonation for style.

Overall: a mediocre pilsner.

Poured a rich, clear golden color with a thin white head that receded to a thin cap of white with abundant carbonation bubbles visible. Quite nice and very true to style. Scents sweet malt and grain with slight lager yeast aromas and a very faint trace of hops. Not a horrible aroma, but lacking in character. Flavor begins with sweet malt, which sustains throughout and a very faint hint of hops. Middle adds more grain to the flavor profile and the hops become a little more noticeable, though still faint for the style. The finish is sweet malt, grainy malt and a low level of floral hop flavors that is now more in line with a low level hopped example of the style. Aftertaste is grainy malt and low levels of floral hop flavors. Not a bad flavor profile, simple, crisp and refreshing, though too low in hop character for a pilsner. Mouthfeel is light bodied with low carbonation and a smooth, almost creamy feel. Not crisp like a pilsner, and a bit under carbonated for a lager. Not unpleasant, but not to style. Overall this is a decent lager that is good for a warm Arizona summer's day or night. The flavor is nice enough and the mouthfeel makes it easy to drink. The aroma is a bit too mild however and it doesn't fit into the pilsner category very well. It's alright.

Small to maybe medium white head settles into a nice lacing above a clear rich straw golden colored beer.

Light aroma of grasses, light grains, a little bit of hops, and it's just slightly floral.

A slight hops bite in the taste that goes along with some lesser grains maybe grasses in here that I taste.

A light dry aftertaste with a very slight hops taste lingering around with this light bodied beer.

This beer might do the trick on a really hot summers day or night and since it's from Arizona I guess their playing to the right audience, or hopefully so.

Appearance: Standard golden pilsener with decent foam and ok carbonation.

Smell: Nice sweet floral notes, and that's about it. Not terribly hoppy overal.

Taste/Mouthfeel: Nice floral hoppy notes with caramel malt background. Nice balance, but gets a bit flat.

Overall Drinkability: Nice subtlety for a pilsener. Probably one of the better American pilsener's that doesn't overwhelm with hops.

Pours a clear straw color with a fast rising white head that leaves little chunks of lacing.

Smells of grainy sweetness.

Tastes of the grain with some grassy hops. Grain notes are accompanied by honey like sweetness. Hops have some light earthy notes as well. Fairly balanced, but it seems a little watery/weak overall.

Mouthfeel is light with an effervescent amount of carbonation.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Coronado Brewing Company pint glass. A bit cloudy, yellow gold ish color. Smell was definitely grainy, corn and some sweetness as well Taste about the same as smell except there is some sweetness that is a bit weird. Overall it's not a terrible beer but it's not something I would seek out. Better than the macrobrews but that's about it.

Clear golden color, maybe a shade darker than expected. Light carbonation. Thin unstable head disappears after a few minutes.

Not what is expected from a pilsener. Smell (and taste for hat matter) reminds me of a low abv Belgian tripel. Sort of a yeast twang which I may be confusing with corn adjunct sweetness. Not enjoyable.

Taste again has a strong adjunct character. It really dominates the taste with a corn and yeast influence.

Struggled to finish the glass. The bad points way outweighed the good here. Disappointing.

A high quality American Pilsner perhaps a tad more golden and with a lot of taste. Pours a very good head that is not lacy but also not too heavy or sticky. Has the good, fresh, slightly grassy scent of a good bodied Pilsner with a nice hit of hops on the tongue. Altogether a good American Pilsner.
