A deep amber/red with a finger of tan head that settles slowly to a thinner layer, and, leaves some nice lacing down the glass. The aroma is bready, a little corny grain, earthy, sweet caramel/toffee. The flavor is tea like, caramel, bready, and maybe a little floral or herbal. The feel is maybe just a shade below average carbonation, thin, and fairly dry. Overall, above average brew, and if you like ambers, it might get the job done, for you.

The most disgusting beer I've ever had. Tastes like bile.

A can was bought for me during a round of golf back in mid-November. Unfortunately we ran out of holes before I could pop this one. Looks like there is a best by 2-2-15 date.

Beer poured semi-flat with a weak head that dissipated quickly.

Nose has hints of sweet biscuity malts.

Taste is surprisingly good and balanced. Bready and biscuity, slightly sweet yet there is enough hop action to balance this out nicely.

Mouthfeel is light to medium and as lacking carbonation.

Overall I like the recipe as this is very tasty. GCBC needs to maybe work out a carbonation issue to make this more appealing.

Poured from bottle into pint glass.

Look: A nice reddish bronze color with a real light brownish head that receded quickly. Leaves nice lacing.

Smell: Amber ales always have a nice malt and yeast aroma to them for me always reminding me of freshly baked bread and this is no different. No real hops come to be noticed.

Taste: Slightly malty, slightly yeasty. Very drinkable. Amber ales are my favorite. Even the taste reminds me of fresh bread.

Feel: Really coats the mouth well, slightly carbonated but not over whelming. Really refreshing and doesn't finish dry.

Overall: A lovely beer. Really refreshing. Really sessionable. Will pick up again. Not my favorite amber ale, but very good.
