Notes:
This Vermon….er… New England style “Hazy” IPA is brewed with cryogenically frozen hops, sent to save the world from boredom! Citra, Mosiac, El Dorado and Loral hops come together to make a citrusy and floral aroma. A low bitterness and light malt body make this beer very drinkable. “Send a maniac to catch a maniac.”

Fine, soft, banana yellow body; cloudy; excellent white head; foamy and stick with decent density. Softly sweet smell; fruity; pineapple and vague notes of citrus. Nice yet muted flavors; semi-fresh elements of pineapple and orange; quietly tart; restrained, moderate bitterness. Medium body; sweet with a biting acidity for contrast; tangy; mild dryness.
This was a gifted beer that has been sitting around the beer fridge for a while. There is no dating information on the can. Assuming this beer has some age on it, it still drinks well and has a very agreeable flavor to it.

On-tap in Meridian ID; not quite an opaque pour, orange with a cap of off-white cream. Stone fruit seems to jump out at me with strong impressions of apricot as well as juicy citrus fruit. Bitter and somewhat resiny with a malty/sweet profile. Pretty good stuff.

12 fl oz can from a sixer:
Coconut, citrus, vague tropical fruit flavour. Passionfruit. Faint crackery malt. Papaya. Lemon. Grass.
Somewhat refreshing. Smooth. Wet. Overcarbonated.
Depth of flavour is lacking/shallow. Drinks like a pale ale at best given its low intensity of hop flavour. Far from a vivid or expressive hoppy ale.
A drinkable but forgettable IPA that doesn't stand out in the oversaturated market segment. Doesn't equal the quality of Snake River's export stout.

Brewery: Snake River Brewing
Location: Jackson Wyoming
Style: Hazy IPA

After a long hard day at work, you want to feel you earned it. Nah, that is bullshit. You just want a cold beer. Using a tulip glass and served the beer at 46 degrees. A one-fingered bright white head was created from the pour. The retention was nil and dropped as fast as it was poured. No lacing was left on the glass after the fast dissipation. Charting the color around SRM 4 pale straw with light golden hues. A hazy beer, with some carbonation bubbles visible. Dismal head retention hurt the score. The appearance is below average.
I smell oranges, floral esters, peaches, pears, melons, and toasted crackers. Nosing the glass several more times. I detect grass and a slight malty sweetness.
I taste oranges, mangos, peaches, toasted crackers, floral esters, a touch of bay leaves, and a tinge of pharmaceutical. After sipping the beer, I notice grass and some dankness.
The mouthfeel is astringent and finishes long and unpleasant. The body is medium and has medium carbonation.
When I want a hazy IPA, I want those classic flavors, especially a juicy orange. I got a decent beer with okay flavors. I yearned for this beer to be more, yet I was left with this.

Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours hazy golden yellow with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a light layer and leaves a little
S: Zesty citrus, tropical and orchard fruit, melon, grassy, a little pine, crackery biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
T: Bright, full fruit salad, mango, orange, lemon, passion fruit, watermelon, pear, peach, apricot, plus hints of papaya and pineapple, grassy, herbal, spicy pine, faint earthy notes, biscuity malt, and caramel sweetness.
M: A little on the lighter side of medium body, moderately lively carbonation.
O: Give this one a couple minutes to open up. Really nice mix of flavors, pretty well balanced. Feels like there's a little bit of everything in there. Great summer afternoon beer.

12 oz can, filled 4/13/20. Pours milky murky dark yellow with a huge bubbly white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.
The aroma is very subdued - malts, with floral soapy hops.
The flavor is sweet cracker malts with some citrus and a fairly big resiny bitter finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, an OK NE IPA, with more resin than fruit.

L - Good murk, decent head, not a ton of lacing
S - This is where this NEIPA style 6% stumbles a bit; not much in the way of aromas, some pith, some dryness discernible. Little else.
T - Good, solid, bitter juiciness. Not much complexity, but a good "core" of citric alpha acids here.
F - Carbonation and mouthfeel are "solid," but not overly complex or mind-blowing.
O - A good, not a great, neIPA for those who are fans of the style. I actually like this style and I'm not going to rag on hazebruhz, but it's just not the best. Nothing like their Zonker Stout for the style.

Draft at PreFunk. First impression is ...what? Nothing! But I just finished Revisions 11.5% hop bomb triple IPA, so excuse me if my palate hasn't recovered. Hazy pour with tight creamy head. Light grainy aroma, no citrus, no juice. Taste too comes across as grainy. Not bad tasting, but not what I was expecting from a NEIPA.

I just tried this. I love that Snake River made the attempt at a NE style IPA. However, speaking as someone from New England who drinks this style practically every day, it’s not close. It’s essentially a slightly hazy old school IPA. The malt bill, hop character, look, smell, mouthfeel etc are just a different style. Perhaps call it a Wyoming IPA.

On tap. Poured out a cloudy, golden orange color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of tropical fruits and sweet toasted caramel. Nice mango, orange and pineapple taste balanced by caramel and a sharp bitterness.

OK, this will be a Wyoming brewery's take on a NEIPA. Should be interesting! Undated can into pint glass. Pours a hazy pale straw color with a small but persistent frothy head. Initial impression is that it's surprisingly on target for the style. Soft mouthfeel, mango, grapefruit, tangerine, pine, tropical fruits - what's not to like about this??? Finish is soft and slightly bitter. Kudos to Snake River Brewing for nailing this one!

really nice take on this style, the hop combination is awesome, and the beer seems more refined than so many of these. not chunky or super thick or dense or anything like a lot of them can be, more drinkable that way, and while its plenty fruity and juicy and all that, its also dry, which is uncommon too, i think a lot of them tend to run sweet in the absence of much hop bitterness, so i like the balance here. pale straw colored brew with a nice white head, a little more lively from the can than it was from the tap in my experience, but both had plenty of carbonation. aroma is awesome, the el dorado is forward in the hop profile to me, ripe juicy melon and tangerine notes dominate, with some wet grassy springy freshness there too, a peach and pineapple thing from the mosaic, and just a bit of oily dankness. all of this is there in the flavor, and the grain base seems to have some earthy wheat in it keeping it all pretty well grounded. lighter body than most of these, and a very soft mouthfeel. usually i miss the bitterness of a more traditional ipa, but not here, the hops come in waves and finish when they should, so this drinks easy. overall a really good new england ipa, these guys have been doing a nice job with the hoppy stuff so far! i think i liked it better from the can in terms of feel, but draft in terms of hop freshness...

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, mango), nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, peach, mango), nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a pretty tasty brew. Nice to see it around here. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!
Thanks goes out to Bitterbill for this brew.

Canned December 31st 2017.
Pours a hazy orange yellow, billowy head of foam, slow shrinking, leaving lacing behind.
Smells of pine, fairly tropical with pineapple being the most notable to me. Some toasted malt but overall, hoppy with a minimal juicy factor.
Love the pine and tropical fruit flavours. Toasted malt brings a snapness to it, if that makes any sense. Again, I am getting mostly pineapple from the fruity side, only juicy notes seem to come in the finish.
Medium almost sticky mouthfeel due in part from the lowish carbonation.
Solid IPA. One that I will enjoy drinking the other 5 cans of.
