Visited this location on recent trip to Montreal. Conveniently located and easy to get to. Nice atmosphere, large windows and high ceiling. Large space, lots of tables and long bar. Serve only their own beers (5 plus one seasonal), so I guess it gets lower marks for selection. I tried the Ambree and was given a sample of the Christmas/winter brew. Beers were decent.
Was there midafternoon, so was very quiet and therefore I received quality, attentive service. Did not try any food.
Happy Hour pricing was in effect, so my pint was only 4$ - very reasonable."

We found this place somewhat by accident as we were going to Brutopia - they are a 1/4 block apart, easy to hit them both. This feels more like a chain brewpub (and it is). Big space, a little more standard restaurant (not the charm of some of the little places around Montreal) but very enjoyable. They were showing music videos from the 80s which made our meal more enjoyable. They do have 'Buffalo' style wings - the hot is hot enough to make those who don't like hot uncomfortable. They got ours mixed up and when I was complaining of blandness, my friend was crying, we quickly switched wings.

Only 4 beer choices, the beer was okay but not great. We didn't try any other 3 Brewers, though we walked by the other one on the same street on our back to the hotel.

I would consider going back here, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Visited Aug. 31, 2007 and only realized recently that i had reviewed the wrong one so i moved the review to here.

Actually, came here on a last minute decision with the wife & baby because we were already in the area.

The Place: pretty big with 2 floors with a bar on each floor & many tables. The decor was very nice with a lot of pictures of brewing & brewers themselves. Very clean & well organized, but it does have a certain restaurant chain feel to it, but for the style, very nice. Nice place to shoot the breeze with some brews.

The Service: I give them top marks because we were with my 14-month old daughter & they were extremely accommadating. Special requests for drinks for the baby were not met with annoyance but rather with a very helpful attitude. Even other waitresses & patrons stopped to talk to her. Being that finding a family-friendly brewpub is difficult, this one is a keeper.

The Food: While good food, it is just average, with prices a bit expensive. 11$+ for a good burger, but not sure it was worth that much.

The Beer: Saw they had a sampler of all their beers (Blonde, Brown, Amber & White), but seeing as we had a limited time, took just their Amber beer. Will have to come back to try that. Nothing extraordinary, but satisfying none the less & a change of pace of only having Molson or Labatt on tap.

All in all, fairly good place, kid-friendly with relatively fine beer for the style.
